Wrong. They are used only in Space Maps... :?

As far as I'm aware, there's only been one set of DC-17m weapons that have been released publicly. Another was made, but it used textures ripped from Republic Commando.

Yeah, space sounds aren't loaded on ground maps.

You are selecting the Uber mode in instant action aren't you? If not I would try a fresh install. Also you haven't got the patched phoenix 1.8.4 thingy.

Darn it! It seems like most of the accurate DC-17m ICWS fire sounds are either only loaded in GCW or Space (Boba Fett's rifle and V-Wing's Shock Cannons). :)

Here you go: SWBF Conversion Pack 1.9 <-CLICK
You may want to patch it with the Phoenix 1.8.4 Patch (<-CLICK) so that BFX 2.1 will work properly.

@Clonetrooper221:There are 2 folders(DATA and addon) if you unzip it,right? So,copy them to C:/Program Files/Lucas Arts/Battlefront 2/Gamedata.If it asks you to overwrite files, click "yes to all".

@Topic:I installed everything(except the freecam mod) in the order written on the first page but everytime I want to play either Mos Eisly(Hero Mode) or Raxus Prime (Any Mode) it crashes and says "couldn't load *levelfile*".Can these Problems be fixed?

That ain't mah problem. It's Conversion Pack that causes that, not BFX.

Actually, if you're using your own scripts for those, it is your problem. The problem is not with those maps (in fact, as of the 1.9 version, there were no problems with the maps themselves that caused crashes), the problem is in the .lua scripts. If you're using the scripts from 1.9 (or any version with crashes), then you'll have to do essentially every bugfix for the maps that crash, unless you want to redo your scripts when the Pack is finished.

You can install the patch whenever you want. You install Phoenix after you install 1.9 and just replace the files not the folders, open each folder in 1.8.4 and move/replace the files in the folders in 1.9/GamData. Its all there but to many people are just replacing the folders which will corrupt the Conversion Pack and it won't run. Phoenix 1.8.4 only incudes the patch files not the whole Conversion pack.
So which files do I replace. Sorry for questions but all this replacing for the 1.8.4 has me confuzzled.

You open the downloaded file (after you extract). Than go into addon/BF1/Data/_LVL_PC/Side (the file you extracted) and copy all the files there and than open your <Battlefront II Directory>/GameData/addon/BF1/Data/_LVL_PC/Side and paste the files you copied there. You do that with every folder. Remember to do the same with the other files from the DATA/_LVL_PC/ (the downloaded file) in your main Battlefront II/GameData/DATA/_LVL_PC, the shell.lvl, Side files, and whatever else is in there.

I actually figure out how to do it right after I posted but was too excited and forgot to edit. Thanks anyway. I bet that helps other people who were confused.

Found a few bugs:
  • The Flight Droid (forgot it's actual name, but it's the one with jetpack) can hover for infinite time. It also has a very strong sheild. Is that intentional? It seems a bit overpowered to me.
  • The Shock Troopers and Cody's legion (orange guys) all have the 501st First Person Views.
I've said it before, but great work on this one.

I've redone the jet droid, it's more balanced now. The first-person view is because of the 1.2 patch. I don't plan to change it, it's not really worth the effort.

I'm going to hold out on releasing this until Conversion Pack 1.9.1 is out. That way, less stuff has to be downloaded, and BFX will be a custom era.
