TOR isn't out yet, so better go with SWG.

I always wanted a Star Wars game to allow me to walk arund and see the galaxy from a civillian's stand point. Imagine a game like KotOR, where you can travel freely from planet to planet. Create a character just the way you want him or her to look, down to the shoes they wear. Having trouble with humans? Play as your favorite alien species, do you prefer green or blue Twi-leks? Choose your occupation, from exciting ones lke smugglers and bounty hunters to bar keepers and mechanics. Buy your own house or apartment, and deck it out with al sorts of neat star-warsy gizmos. Purchase your own ship and explore the frthest reaches of the outer-rim. Modify eveything from your personal droids, to your speeder, to your blaster.
But all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy, and every adventurers needs a little "R & R" every once in a while. Play Pazzak, race pods, bet on the beast fights, or kick back with some Juma Juice and swap stories.
There'd be s much to do, so much to see, and everyone would be happy. Sounds awesome huh?
They thought of this too, and called it SWG.

Speaking of Rep, notice how he hasn't posted since the pics lol? Hopefully he's making improvements and making it even better. Also, Rep, I have a possible suggestion:

Here's a preview of a certain Jedi I've been working on for the map.
Yes, I edited his face a bit because I can't stand Pandemic's, and yes, I will be fixing the way it blends into the rest of the head. It's still WIP
And of course I added a cloak, because 1) He wore the Jedi cloak/robe while he confronted Palpatine in his apartment, and 2) It looks cool.

The name Obi-something pops into my head when I see him.....I'm not sure who it is though. Obi-Jinn?
Nice model, but the cloak texture doesn't fit well with the stock pandemic texture imo.

No, I am sure it is Wan-Tan Window.
But back on topic.

It doesn't fit well in my opinion either, which is why it's still WIP.

Above the Camera viewing window click the "Wireframe" box and choose "Textured Decal" from the drop down list.

The FAQ thread in the modelling section
does have a reason, you know

Any further questions should go in the modelling forum, let's not clutter up this topic. Looking nice, Challenger!

Felt off-topic--but anyway, the map looks great, the models are flawless. But I agree, it would have more depth with buildings in the background that blend well with the city. As for the capital ships- I have no idea if you're recreating anything or not, so I will not comment on that suggestion.

Hey everyone, thanks for the comments!
I'm off building a soccer-kicking robot, so I won't get around to working on this till probably much later down the road. I see perhaps after early May at the latest that I can resume work.

Wow, I did not know so many robotics members were on gametoast. I am on a team for robotics with a soccer ball kicking robot competition as well. Are you guys doing First Robotics Competition this year or is it another soccer ball kicking competition?
