And textured...
Texture took 1hr - 1.5 hr, not sure exactly. Not the best, but I blame my sucky UVing skills. >_> Started out good and then I run out of room.

Nice! Although the skirt thing should probably be a different color. Or is that the edge of the cloak?
Very good for such a short time

One tip I have heard so many times - UV before you make the texture. Then you know you will have enough space for the texture.

Nah, lotsa people UV it to a pre-made texture, me for instance

I should start UVing it beforehand though

if you paint your textures yourself (like YJJ, VF501 (and me)) and if you want to have nothing stretched or shrinked this is the best way

Many times I have a hard time getting everything to be the same size so it's scaled tho, which is my problem. If you make things too small, you don't have enough detail, if you make them too big, you don't have enough room for the other UVs... it's annoying. >_< Maybe we should start a thread to discuss UVing in

i think it cant be disussed very well, you just have to get into it or look into UVs of pros like mars marshall
(funny to say this to an in-45-minutes-playermodel-maker)

Elf
Made from 3 cylinders (feet, legs, body) and 1 sphere (head)
Head looks weird, but I was going for a low poly model and I think I accomplished that fairly well.
Modeling time was 1:15 - 1:45 hr, not sure exactly.

Looks pretty cool! Ehhh... Except for the nipples!
Lol, I'd remove the side pockets. They look "odd".

@JLL
Let's see a wireframe or equivalent for learning purposes please, they are required in this topic.

Sorry Ace, I keep forgetting you have to post wire frames now. =|
Here it is:
And here's the one for the other I didn't post earlier:
On another note, the arms do seem a little big... :/
Here's an image of it while it was a wip, so judging from that the body seems fine, it's probably the shoulder area that makes it seem big, what do you think?
I'll probably come back to it later and try to fix it up a little.

You're right. Now that I look at it it's just the shoulder area, the body looks good!
