might seem like a noobish question to most of you, but oh well
how do you make a skin plain? like turning, for example, the assassin skin, all white, so you can reskin it?

You could fill the skin with a white box. Undesirable.

You could lower saturation as far as you can, making it black-and-white. Okay, I suppose.

You could try to manually remove all the little stripes and stuff. Not that easy. I believe someone went through the third method for a few clones, check the skinning FAQ section or the released assets forum.
