OMG 80-85% done!!! Im hoping this gets release in this week, it will definitly make my Chinese New Year a whole lot better

I've been watching this one...

Looking at the screenies, it's gonna be an epic battle.

I think the black objects are terrain formations.

One thing i really like is the atmosphere here, but is it just me, or is there a sea of fog below bridge level and none above?

I've been working on this map alot. The UT AT problems are getting better, but it's not perfect. I've increased the size of the map by 2x. And it makes for a much more exciting gameplay.

Things i still have to do:

1. mini map

2. new loading screen (cause of the map's change)

3. fix up UT AT

4. Make AI pathing/planning/barriers better.

5. get/implement a secret thing that you guys are gonna go crazy over :p.

Expect a beta fairly soon :wink:

Will you mod the UT-AT to be non-sucky? I know its already "accurate," but I waited weeks for it and when it came out, the makers were so obsessed with "realism" it wasnt any fun to play as.

Horray! Seriously looks awesome right now. But also with post above ^^ will the UT AT be the same as in Majin's map? Because if you're using normal units, it might be out of place.

He will most likely change the stats of it to make it fit normal SWBF2.

He has an accurate mode as well, just as Schizo did. For the default mode, he is welcome to downgrade the UT-AT to...IMO, crappy standards, LOL.

And Ateas, I think what you are saying is offensive towards DooFi and Psych0fred for all of their tedious and diligent work. I'm not just saying that because I worked on it and was obsessed with getting it. Plus, it is NOT supposed to be a great vehicle. It ended up being a bit of a failure in warfare. Please, don't criticize negatively unless you can demonstrate that you can do better (even if you can, negative criticism is not right).

And, now, get ready, as I give my review on Elmo's map. As I played, shot at people and in return got shot at, drove the UT-AT, I started to wonder if there was one word to describe this map. I came to the answer of: pwnage. :shock:

First things first, conquest. It's pretty fun, for a conquest. You know, pretty typical, got your standard units, killing each other. I am happy to remind everyone, that for the Republic, it's all galactic marines. :P

Now, I want to talk about the size of the map before I go any further. It's a very big map! :shock: And I mean big, bridges, walkways, buildings, lots of stuff. I love the destroyed vehicles effect. It gives you that feeling like, there was just a big battle here, and you've been called to clean out the remainder. One thing I didn't like very much, was that the battle wasn't totally spread out yet. There were some underused bridges. Imagine this in an Uber Conquest mode! :) Then, I also wanted to say, I love the LAATs you have flying around, AI controlled (by script) which gives you a little less to worry about.

Now what you've all been waiting for. Assault, or as Elmo and I call it, realistic. This is the mode with the much awaited for, UT-AT! I suppose I'll start with the units here. We've got realistic units, with realistic names and weapons, and devilesh good looks. 8) We've even got Commander Bacara here, not as the hero either, as the top unit! Very nicely done he is, neat weapons. The units look, battle-hardened, dusty, with a rugged look, but like they're still in order, just barely. Now for the droids, we've got the B2 Battle Droid! (Just a longer name for the Supers :wink: ) If you've ever played Majin Revan's RotE 3, you'll find the Super to be the same, slow, but with amazing power and force. But, if you're one of those guys who just never liked the Super, we've got a B1 Battle Droid! Nice and simple, with just a plain blaster rifle, it's one of those units there for the if you don't want this one kinda thing. :P The other units I'll let you find out about for your selves, but I want to mention the Droid Sniper....*coughrapidfiresniperriflecough* But what you've all probably been waiting for, the UT-AT! If you played Majin Revan's RotE 4, you'll know that this is where Elmo got this beloved vehicle! Great fun in there, jam packed full of laser fire, pretty moveable, lots of positions, try that in online play! And now, I'll move onto the screens. :D

Oh SWEET!!!!! The B1 Battle Droid! I hate using the Super in SWBF II but the B1 is really good to use in SWBF I, Commander Bacara is going to be sooo full of pwnage XD

With the UT-AT and Cmd. Bacara present, I assume that the screens are from realistic assault mode...right?

Anyway, what I see looks awesome, and the only thing I could ever complain about is that Bacara doesn't use the Carbine seen in his hands in the movie. But that's no major problem.

So, looking forward for the Beta.

The carbine is Bacara's secondary weapon.

Yes, sorry I didn't go into detail on weapons and whatnot, also, Elmo and I had an awsome time playing online on the map, so online play gets a check. :)
