Since I don't have the money to buy XSI, is there a way to cheat the trial period deadline? It just stopped working now that my time is up.

What version are you using...? I've never heard of XSI trial version running out. I ran it for well over half a year and experienced no problems of that kind. (I run modtool 6 btw)Darth_Squoobus wrote:Since I don't have the money to buy XSI, is there a way to cheat the trial period deadline? It just stopped working now that my time is up.
There probably is, but that isn't something that should be discussed here. You should go get one of the free, non-trial versions of XSI instead (such as the one mentioned above by kinetosimpetus).501st_commander wrote:noDarth_Squoobus wrote:is there a way to cheat the trial period deadline?
I searched, and I couldn't find it. 90% of my results were irrelevent.Xavious wrote:There probably is, but that isn't something that should be discussed here. Did your search include the uppermost sticky in this forum? Because it is quite relevant:Darth_Squoobus wrote:I searched, and I couldn't find it. 90% of my results were irrelevent.
Why?Darth_Squoobus wrote:Scratch that, I'm going to re-install it every month.

I re-installed it from there, and it still doesn't work. I use version 5.11.Eggman wrote:Why?Darth_Squoobus wrote:Scratch that, I'm going to re-install it every month.

Which one do you mean, there are four different versions.Maveritchell wrote:You are missing the point. Use the modtool. It's just as functional, it just has limited export capabilities. The demo is just that, a demo. You're not supposed to be able to use it in perpetuity.
The same one that's in the title of the topic, at the very top of the page, in huge bold letters. I would say you can't miss it, but...Darth_Squoobus wrote:Which one do you mean, there are four different versions.Maveritchell wrote:You are missing the point. Use the modtool. It might have helped to mention that you had some kind of prerequisites in the first post. In any case, you can always find a different mirror of it or look even further down in the same post and download the older version of the modtool:Darth_Squoobus wrote:And I refused to download that version because it requires me to give away personal information before downloading.
Wow. All this time and it was right there.DarthD.U.C.K. wrote:you could have downloaded it here but if you dont want...
actually its right above this post many times. softimage does nothing with the information that you enter, its just a survey type thing for them to find out who downloads their software.Darth_Squoobus wrote:Wow.
