Corra: Abyssal Wasteland

Hello there fellow Gametoasters, today I bring you my latest map the Abyssal Wasteland of Corra.

Before I waste all of your time making you read some boring story and look at some boring pictures how about I let you watch it?

My progress so far:
Sides: 100%
Map: 90%
ZE Anims: 70%
Gamemode: 70%

Random Info:
The map contains a new mode and era
The era is the Corran civil war (made up entirely by me)
Gamemode is Domination, and here's a basic overview of the mode: One side has to hold a fortified base with 3 layers of defence, the defence must simply prevent the attackers from conquering the defences in a certain time limit while the attackers must take all the defences within the time limit, and after you and your team earn a certain amount of kills you get a special bonus that is very beneficial (the bonus you'll have to find out yourself :wink: ).

Comments, Suggestions?

Looks cool. That crash animation looked slightly cheesey, but it still looks awethim. :P
Are you adding a new era?
EDIT: lol i should read more carefully..... Answered.. :oops:

The vision looks a bit hard to see from the video, is it in first/third person?

Sorry that's xfire... And the video was taken in free cam.

Oh ok. I knew it was in freecam so I figured it was the map. I forgot about Xfire.

I couldn't see much of the terrain due to X-fire's bad video quality, but you are a pretty good mapper, I'm sure it's fine. :P

I like the crash animation for the LAATs; on that note, are you going to replace the LAATs by something else? It's kinda hard to believe they had anything like LAATs back then.

I would but I can't think of any other model that would be better (stock only).

Because I haven't found a single model that would be able to be a "Transport" (which is what I need).

But back on-topic: Yes I am looking for beta testers. Just ask on this thread, also to be a beta tester you must have atleast beta'd two maps before.

Looks very interesting, but wasn't there like a pirate transport that Mav used in his Abraxas' Platform and didn't that get released??

EDIT:
I would like to beta. I've beta tested a lot of maps in my past so I know what to look for.

Thanks for the positive comments guys. Oh I've updated the first post with the beta testers beta testers, I hope to have it out by this sunday.

Very nice map, you set the atmosphere very well. I'd certainly be willing to try the official beta :D

And also I'll uncover the bonuses feature of the gamemode. each side gets a bonus they can unlock after they get a certain amount of kills, for the defence they get an orbital bombardment strike, for the attack their unit count doubles (maybe make this triple but I haven't decided yet) for a short time. Both bonuses can have HUGE impacts on the battle and can be a turning point but they are hard to earn and your opponent is just as likely to get their bonus.
