Yeah. I am a little sick of looking at these questions. Of course, I probably was the same when I started out. I don't think Mav was ever like this though (even his first post was pretty well informed and professional looking)

Anyway, follow the yellow brick-I mean, link and you will find it. You could also look here which doesn't exactly produce a full on third team with their own command posts, but makes gameplay more exciting and scary (well, for me at any rate)

you can have 8 teams in total, that makes 6 local teams (for future reference: you can find these kind of informations in the bf2 limitations topic linke din the everything you need thread)

I Think that you mean nonplayerable right? Like the tuskens and jawas... I dont know if you can have three playable sides though...

zerted made a test map with 4 teams but i dont remember if it worked out or not

no, the sideselection didnt work as far as i know

The 4-team map had half the selection screen disabled depending on which team the player selected. 3+ teams work ok, but have a few issues the modder has to design the map around.

As far as questions go, this one has a please, ?, and a thank you. That's more than most people do.

Everyone starts somewhere, (even Mav did, as I'm sure he'd tell you himself). I think the thing that bothers most people here is you get a newbie that asks how to do something, but these days they might release one map and of course it is never great because it's their first, then they're never heard from again.
