Does anyone know of a way to fix this?

Well, I can't get XSI. My parents and I have tried already 3 times and it still won't work, so they said not to try again (thank [insert ceiling cat here] for the Request Thread). That's why I want any imperfections dealt with in this stage.RepSharpshooter wrote:Those look like invisible edges on the polygon. You can fix that in XSI once it gets there, by turning the edges.
Well, what I did was copy and paste those bars on to the face then moved them, but these "invisible edges" are qwerky. I even did a test just using the Pull/Extrude tool on a separate block, and the same thing happens once they're textured.DarthRogueKnight wrote:I'm willing to bet you moved that pillar at some point, and even if you didnt, rep is right.
Post a wireframe just in case.

When your bar geometry is connected to the floor geometry you're just creating excessive triangles anyway, it's best to leave them disconnected especially for a game model.Null_1138 wrote:...However, I'd like to see if there is a cure for these lines, in case I ever come across them in the future.

Is that how Sketchup works? I thought that was only for XSI...AceMastermind wrote:When your bar geometry is connected to the floor geometry you're just creating excessive triangles anyway, it's best to leave them disconnected especially for a game model.Null_1138 wrote:...However, I'd like to see if there is a cure for these lines, in case I ever come across them in the future.
