This happens to me all the time too, I assume a reinstall didn't fix it?

Assuming you have the same exact problem, you can load and play the first game properly, and any set of maps in that order, but if you go back to the main screen, your screen becomes a bit laggy, and if you try to start another match, you are stuck loading for about half hour to a hour, which at the point of loading is so laggy it is too unbearable to play?

After 5 reinstalls, i figured it couldn't be fixed, and just restart the game every time i need to get in a new match.

Its a real pain for multiplayer though, and if anyone can offer assistance, it would be greatly appreciated.

Lol, nice try, but I got Vista and it works fine. Random CTDs happen with the conversion pack if you play certain maps in a row, but those are known issues. I've never heard of this happening, though.

Neither had I, before this, so I just figured it was something that i must have randomly screwed up.

I'd also like to point out that updating my graphics card and reformatting my computer did not fix the problem.

i do not have this problem... its different. mine is when i start an instant action game and play it through, quit to the main menu and repeat, the screen flashes black for 2 seconds then goes to the loading screen, and all the lights are on but its still taking longer than it should... thats my problem

I'm pretty sure we're talking about the same problem--you just haven't actually gotten to the game yet. If you leave it alone for a little while, does it go ingame?

The super long level loading issue happens in WINE under Linux too. That is the only issue when having a Linux based server.

Holy crap I hate this crash. I'm glad I'm not the only one. I get the crash with XP though, so its probably not solely vista.

This isn't a crash problem.
