Easy explanation.
Good gallery and list of new features.
Anyone who has Steam can sign up. I'm already signed up, and it looks really nice. It's...different, but looks pretty modern.

Hmmm...web browser seems to be a little buggy and slow. Oh well, it could be worse....they could still be using IE (*ZING*).

Well, I just tried it, and it lags pretty badly on my computer. I'm going back to the old look, I guess.

After I installed this, Steam decided it'd be funny to redownload Modern Warfare 2. Hah! Good one, Steam!

Yeah, that's one of the bugs. The other being that friends get bugged and you have to remove them and re-add them. Both seem to happen randomly, though.
Oh, and
here's the Steam Forum regarding the update.

I don't have any problems with it and it looks good and runs smooth.
Only thing to do for me is to purchase a game in order to add friends.

Hi.
Lol, after trying it out it works fine for me, except for the fact it never seems to log off,
Which Darth_Spiderpig has discovered

Welp, it's here, seems pretty nice.
I like the small mode, and the activity chart on the store page.
Still figuring out the rest of it.

I used the beta version for a while and I really liked it, but the main window was kind of slow to show up, so I changed back to the original design and opted to wait out until they found a way to make it less laggy. I'm a bit disappointed to see that that problem persists even in the final version. [sigh] Looks like I have no choice but to endure. Oh well, I'm patient.
New Steam looks good, is easy to use and adds some pretty cool new stuff.
See, Youtube, THIS is how you update your design without losing effectiveness...
