Hi Rends :)yes , for the ATTe (Pilotview, Maingunview,Backgunview) ,the AAt (only the turretview !), ATAT(Pilotview) , and Spider(Pilotview) the Views working ,I´m deleted the // for the Firstperson in the ODF`s

I think rends need the auctual cockpit view itself. Not the hud in firstperson with a reticle in the middle of the screen. He needs the gagues, screens and the other nifty stuff we are missing in cockpit view

Well the cockpit model is there. the problem is that nothing happens if you press "v" key to switch from 3rd to 1st person.

Seems that i need a closer look at the ATTE to see if i find something different to the ATSt odf entries.

Misunderstand ? It`s working not all Views , and only the security Cam Views , not the original Cockpitviews ...:( here Pics from the AAt (only the turretview works) and the ATTE (all Views working)

Have you had any luck on your AT-ST yet Rends? If not, have you tried loading the regular AT-ST into memory as well? If you have it loaded into memory it should load the anims you need.

Well it´s not working. I thought i did the same as i did while testing the gunship cockpit on my City map wich worked.

First i added following entry to the cor.req:
REQN
{
"model"
"imp_1st_cockpit_atst"
}

next i edited the following line in the cor_walk_atst.odf file to:

FirstPerson = "cor\cor;imp_1st_cockpit_atst"

I also have the cockpit files in the msh folder (see screenshot above)

But ingame when i press the "v" button wich switched from 3rd to first person nothing happens.
Any idea?
(I tested to increased the ATST speed and no problem with that so i know that the engine recognise chenges to the adf file)

Teancum, yes i did it your way and loaded the imp atst too. The 3rd side atst is working now but still need to figure out if it´s possible to activate the cockpit view.

well you can only have 2 teams you can choose to play but you can have another one for vehicles ect...

I'll check it out (The cockpit deal). The req and the FirstPerson entry in the odf looks fine. Check for a ForceMode entry in the odf. If there is one, comment it out.

short update:
gunner position is 1st person as you can see in the screenshot but you can´t switch to 3rd person view.
-the view is also non moveable. this means you can´t move the hud in any direction it´s connected to the direction of the ATSt heading.
Well this isn´t a problem because you fire guided rockets only and not laser like you did in SWBF1

still working on the pilot 1st person...
