Okay I tried the faceworx program and must say it's amazing. Now I got a problem..
How can I reduce the polygons in 5.11? I tried filter polygons but it gives me messy results.. In modtools 6 there is a polygon reduction tool..
Isn't there such a good tool for foundations?

I don't know that much about XSI version, but I do know that there is this "cash in a favor" option build in this forum, it's easily accessible through the pm button located somewhere below this message.

I've just read some texts on some functions in Blender, I came across one that helps to reduce polygons and keep UV layout in a very clean way.

The Polygon Reduction button is just under the Filter Polygons one(Modify>Poly. Mesh).

No there isn't a polygon reduction tool like there is in modtools I know I looked, lots.
Quadrangulate may help a bit, at least make it easier to use the normal polygon filter on.

BTW have you tried the face maker that is in XSI and Modtools it is really easy, just move sliders.
Made this guy in a very short time, it also does the UV map for you as well. It is under Model/Primitve/Face Man there is also Face Woman

Yes it is. oO

Maybe its just for the Advanced version of XSI 5.11, not for the Foundations...

Okay so it's not there. I like the Faceworx much better, and making your computer handle loads of unneccesary polys would be egoist.. so what would be the best way of polygon reduction without messing up the model? Since Filter Polygons creates unneccesary holes..
