cant open ZE with 3DAnalyze

i tried getting ZE to work using 3DAnalyze, but I followed the directions, and the .bat file that i created just wont load it. how do i get it to load? the ZE logo shows up and then disapears and nothing happens! i NEED help! or is it that my computer is 4 years old and needs to be replaced?

HMM, did you try just going to 3D analyze, and doing it from there, without going throught the bat file?
And you are sure you checked teh correct boxes?

yes i did,i checked the Force SW TnL, and i did it from 3d-Analyze. i that the problem?

When you say nothing happens, do you mean there's no error or anything, because usually, Windows will generate an error when a program shuts down unexpectantly.
It sounds like you did the process correctly though.

i dunno about my graphics card, but i have Windows XP, and my card doesnt allow me to just randomly open ZE for some reason.

How could you "dunno" about your card? Right click desktop » properties » settings tab
Once you know what your card is, you can search for updated drivers.
Why do you need 3d analyze with XP anyways? Isn't it a Vista work-around?

i need it so i can open ZE, which wont normally open, i get a diagnostic message. (Zeroeditor has encountered a problem and needs to close, we are sorry for the inconveinence)

I don't know, since I don't have XP, but the what the program does is emulate TnL, which most integrated graphics cards don't have. This would seem to indicate that if a sub-par graphics card were a problem, than the operating system doesn't matter, but, who knows, maybe extra graphics processing can overcome the lack of TnL and Vista uses this up while XP doesn't (this among a myriad of was Vista could require when XP doesn't using the same graphics card).
