A little harsh don't you think

Yeah seriously. He returns to GT to give you guys a little gift and then you jump on him. At least he took the time to convert and modify to BF2 for you all

I agree with Mini'.
Both of us are sick and tired of people never do anything but taking a brief look at a pic and make a short comment to it
To be honest, I'll soon simply delete the posts like that - and the following small discussions like the one you just had.
It seems to me like people just use it as an excuse to get more posts - whatever kind of honor there lies in that
*smacks you for the last time*
and *spanks Pingy' because I don't hit girls*
If you wanted to present it as something in XSI to SWBF2 - make a topic for it instead

It's simply not enough to credit the author when this topic is about showing your OWN work
(yep - I just encouraged you to make a topic here or in the SWBF2 Modding forum or Released)

if i were still a moderator i would delete this thread of clutter, let people make topics on thier models like you said Qdin so that people dont have to sort through a thread to comment on 1 model of many and let the threads on the lesser popular models just die and fade away.
EDIT: i also agree with Qdin, any thread showcasing models SHOULD be your OWN work and not something you ripped outta another game.

as ive been treing to say i DIDNT RIP THEM
eviljedi released his models in OBJ format and textures on PSD so modders could port then to other games asslong as you give credits....

But he had only posted the picture when I had viewed it. Not the text which he edited in afterwards.

the thread name is "Model showcase thread", not "Model showcase thread, that user made".
delete the off topic posts and minilogoguys post *kicks everyone for being retarded* too. wtf, this is the second or third post where he want to kick some user or whatever.
most of the modder, modeler want to mod for swbf2 and most of them are not
experts, some of them like redline start to model a few weeks ago.
we should be happy, that there are people who want to create models and maps for swbf2.

I will quote Kyross - from the first line in this topic:
"thought I'd start a thread where people can post some of their work here (if only for the sake of showing it off). "
notice the word THEIR

It means people's OWN work, which THEY have done.
Maxloef, if you want to show something like that which isn't your model, make another topic. Don't show off a model which you've converted...
and I've decided to go delete all the more 'useless' posts from now on.

Yep - I totally agree
Considering you haven't done this alot, this is pretty good. Hopefully it was mainly primitives...
Show us the models in Wireframe!

It's simple and easy and perfect for SWBF2
my ONLY problem with it is...
2 grids in XSI measures 6 feet - or 1,8 meter... That's HUGE windows, you know that?

The partement buidling is made out of 1 cube which i extruded and beveled the other building is 2 cubes that are extruded (main building and staircase)
also the buildings are up to scale of the original game

and these are for a secret poject im working on

Post it in Wireframe. I'm not gonna tell you your models are really-really good unless I see them in Wireframe

Wireframe usually expose the good fromt he bad
But it looks right...

Remidns me of lego

must be because they fit to each other so nicely
