Well, I'm glad to say the beta version is finally available to the public. Huge thanks to everyone that helped out! I couldn't have done it without you guys! Please keep in mind, players, that this is my first mod for a game
ever and it's still in beta stage. Anyway I hope you enjoy the map! Please provide feedback to help me know what to improve on in the final version! Thanks!

Nah just kidding. Haven't even played it yet. I'm sure it is fine and if it isn't, oh well, it's your first map. Learn from the mistakes. Your still one step ahead of me. I still haven't mastered zeroedit

I was amazed by it!!! It was a great map with some nicely placed objects...I loved it and I hope you can keep products like this kind of work up!

It was awsome! I like it, but one thing bugs me.. I hate how there are so many forest maps out now. We need a good lagoon or flower planet.

by the way, your map was cool, though I suggest changing the republic medic's weapons around a bit, to make him less of a pilot and more of a medic.
EDIT:Hmm i got that backwards i said less of medic and more of a pilot lol.

ur map was great for ur 1st map.
i would make the republic refending and the cis attacking.
also, make it so theres a great battle in front of the base.
just a thought.

Well I gave the CIS command posts that had more cover. I thought that this way, there wouldn't be any jet trooper-swarming like there is in multiplayer. Also, it gives the CIS somewhat of an advantage, which doesn't happen often. LOL It's a bit too much of an advantage however. I'm evening it out in the final version.

hate to bump my own thread because to me it just seems rude, however I don't think my beta is getting much publicity. I only had 2 public comments at Filefront, both of which didn't give me any feedback. When you look at the number of comments for other mod maps listed you'll see why I'm concerned. Also at LucasArts people seem as though they couldn't care less that a new map has come out, and they're usually the ones that are most eager for new maps. To the point, this is just a bump to get publicity. Sorry! I feel guilty for doing this...

from first mapper to first mapper I say that I liked your map. I am not a big fan of these rhen var recycling maps, but yours was refreshing. I think you have done a good job on the AI so far.
I haven´t forgot that you helped me out quite a bit when I didn´t know how to move objects (although it is described in the reference as I had found out later, lol).
Yeah, it is a bit annoying when you don´t get feedback.
Lol, on filefront I got a crappy average rating of 4.5 for my beta (which means that people almost got seasick playing it; but I admit that it wasn´t that good), but no comments...., while I got a rating of 10 here but also no comment, and people most likely might think I have voted it myself that high....
But I don´t want to force people to play my map; I think if people liked my map they´ll let me know, and let others know. If they think it´s just average or worse, there will be no feedback and it will die... and then I will try it again making a new map.
Don´t need to feel guilty for bumping, I mean it is your baby and I think everyone does that sometimes....

I like both of these maps.
Methlyn has the a gameplay feel like the shipped maps, and it looks like people should play it online.
Canyons needs one or two things: The Tie intercpeptor and if possible the V-wing(get off your Diet Dr. Pepper L-5-R or release it as is!

) Imagine flying through the canyons in those speed demons! Your map would be much more popular since it will be the map with the best Air Gameplay to have it(over Encounter and Mon Cal islands beta-again, get of your RPG playing Diet Dr. Pepper L-5-R)
If L-5-R reads the post he will kill me. He has no obligation to finish the v-wing, BUT STILL!

I hate to bump this again as well, but I loved this map. It's one that's staying on my hard drive. In fact, I would love to see this go final and would be willing to help out. There's no gameplay issue that I can think of, but I'll get back to you if I notice any.
