Okay, well i have been trying to skin one of my custom heroes, quinlan vos, which came from the jedi skins pack over at filefront. Quinlan uses the anakin mesh. i found a custom skin for anakin and edited it and now want to use it instead of the original quinlan skin. so i replaced the quinlan skin with my special skin and now whenever i play, quinlan looks the same, as if nothing had been done to it. I am sure i replaced the skin in the right directory and there is no trace of the original skin in the side directory. what should i do ?
[edit] I tried a full clean as in the tutorial and now i lost my hero!
Can someone kindly help me with skinning problem?

No idea why things dissappear, it happens to me sometimes too. But if Vos uses anakins mesh, why don't you just reskin anakin? Or do you want both at the same time? There is an easy tutorial on using two skins for one model in the FAQ thread, you just need a hex-editor like xvi32 (it's free).

oh and with the anakin skin, do you need to have the transparency on it?(the gray checker boxes?)
