Object not showing in ZE after renaming file! [Solved]

Post by Grev »

I was trying to add odf files on ZeroEditor. I copy/pasted the msh folder, and put it in the folder I was working on (This may be a problem, I opened the folder and made the msh and odf folder) then copy/ pasted what I needed in, and renamed it to CR1_bldg_bunker1 instead of geo_bldg_bunker1

Then I tried again to see it in ZeroEditor. No luck

Whats going on? :runaway:

Why did you rename it? Change it back to geo_bldg_bunker1, there's no reason for you to be changing those names.

In the object ODF, it calls the msh name, change it too.

So, you clicked browse and selected an odf and then hit open and it wasn't there?
...or are expecting it to magically show up? Can't find the browse button? Your post is kind of vague.

Sorry about the vagueness, but Im fine now.. I switched everything (msh, odf, etc.) back to original names and it all showed up.

I will ask this topic to be locked when I test the map and everything shows up.

THANKS!!!

Yeah, you see the ODF file calls for a certain MSH file name. If you rename the msh, the ODF won't be able to find it because its under a different name.
