not the sort of genre I'm into but the graphics look good, everyone should check out the "crowd test" wmv in the "about the game" section, I'm sure it'll set the benchmark for games to come, it'll be interesting to see how the actual finished project looks in comparison, in case they decide they need to "downgrade" the graphics slightly.

Well, I would've tought you people like first person shooters, as SWBF2 is basically that (1st/3rd person.) However, this looks awsome. I will probably buy it if they release a demo.

Nah it's not FPS's I have a problem with, I just can't get into the game genre based on orcs, ogres, dragons and the like. Still I'll be interested to see how the previews compare to the actual finished product on the PC format (if it's available).

Off-topic : Well, in case you did not notice this detail earlier, it seems that "Project Offset" will eventually ship with an "Editor Framework", as stated in the bottom of this web-page, which means you might be able to edit or create brand-new Shaders, Environments, etc...

Personally this game is in my favorite genre. I like the multiplayer and singleplayer ideas. I highly recomend you check out the "crowd test" that Carbine pointed out. I would also check out the first trailer in the downloads section.

Is this going to be released in retail, or as a free game, or what?

Off-topic : Well, thanks to the content of the "News" section of "Project Offset" web-site, I would personally bet on the fact that this Offset Software Product will not be free, as it seems to exploit resources and stuff which have been equally "borrowed" by different" Video Game Development Studios - Such as Blizzard Entertainment - in order to intend them to World of Warcraft®, for sample...

Off-topic : I do not call the content of your last message into question, Barney', but I would have preferred you to insert a more "constructive" one, since adding only one sentence referring to your Thoughts and Comments is not what might be considered as being really "enjoyable" by GameToast members reading most of the replies having been added inside this topic so far...
