Ahh, okay :mrgreen:

I've changed the ground to be more orange, but the lightning doesn't fit.
Try to make it like the pic :? :lol:

I lost my files from my old Korriban map, but with my new PC mapping is much faster :mrgreen:

My main 3 suggestions are; smooth out the terrain, use more than one ground texture, and well I don't know why you added this in the first place but remove the grass it's pointless and ugly. One last thing add WAY more cover it's pretty barren now, try adding some yavin walls all over some pillars geo rocks etcetera. But overall I think this is a huge improvement over the old one the lighting looks good and the reskins work good.

I think it looks great, but with a little too much orange in the lighting perhaps? or in the skins?

The lighting looks fine to me, the skins don't matter an awful lot since this is a new era they most likely won't be used. And by Geo rocks I meant the smaller ones, the "bunker" rocks and all those "cliff" rocks are incredibly useful as cover and are something this map is lacking. Also by smoothing the terrain I meant where the player is it can look really bad from up close, but the mountains are fine as is since as far as I know they are more in the background.

May I give one advice for lighting?: (I know the lines are squigly, but it's the best I can do with a mouse)

When choosing a primary colour, try to sty within the green area.
When choosing a secondary color, try to stay within the red area.
I'm not saying that you have to stay withing them, but they are fairly good guidelines for making realistic lighting. May I say that, in my opinion, the lighting looks a bit too saturated (= too much colour).
Other than that;
Scatter some objects around. If you'd then carefully use barriers and hintnodes, you'd make for a great gameplay.

Grass did not appear much in Korriban but I have to agree this version looks absolutely sweet. Although where were clone troopers and droids in it? Even so I am adding the images to first posts. :thumbs:

Nice improvements, getting closer and closer to Korriban. Apart from what bobfinkl already wrote, it looks like some of the prop textures lost a lot of detail in contrast though. Did you colorize them, or did you use hue?

Great usage of stock props from different maps there, keep it up! :D

Add some of those little rocks from Rhen-VAr the ones that are really small.(<Whoa redundant) Change up the terrain texture a little and you should be good to go for ground.

But the lighting and sky are not to my tastes, mostly because it's different from what it looked like in KotOR. If you've never played it, I suggest looking up some videos or playing it. But this is Your map, not Bio-Ware's, so do what you want. But because Korriban was such a distinct planet in KotOR, people are really picky about the sky and atmosphere in general. Hence the grass and sky complaints you've recieved. My advice...

The lighting is over saturated turn that down some for starters.
The sky on Korriban was less yellow and more of a really faint brick-red.
The terrain was a kind of, darker crimson9I sound like a crayon box.), this gave the apperance that the planet was darker than it actually was.
There were fallen statues, rocks, and various ruins all over the place. You've done well here, but I can't help but think a few more would go a long way.
Archeological(<Spelling?)Pits were dug everywhere, but being years after the Sith Empire, I can see where they would've filled back up.
Caves and tombs were everwhere, and putting a couple in for good measure doesn't hurt.
There was no plant life on Korriban.

Thems are suggetions, but I do kinda like your interpretation of korriban, definate improvement.

Thanks, it's very important you try not to go too high in that colour field, since it really hurts too much.

Just for your info, I'm sending over the Bane, and also if you want I can get a few pictures of Korriban.
If you wanted grass you'd probrably want to make it dusty brown coloured so it fits in with the environment but personally I'd scrap it entirely. No offence. :thumbs:
