ohai it's a slight update.

Build 20111113.1345 change log:
 • Finished the Clone Troopers' skins
 • Fixed the AAC's sounds
 • Replaced the Alliance's Hovernaut with a stolen Imperial AT-TE
 • Added some large rock barriers for cover
 • Started cleaning up an extremely high triangle count Lunar Lander made by NASA
 • Fixed the Strike Bomber's bomb-drop sound by changing it to the Hailfire's missile-launch sound
 • Fixed the issue with Skywalker's weapon loadout
 • Modified the thermal detonators to react to motion as they would in low gravity (works in CW era only so far)
I will post pictures when I get home in about an hour.

So, basically they go slower and take longer to reach the target?

No; they move at the same speed, they just take longer to hit the ground, and they travel a lot further to compensate. I also decreased their friction a bit.

Ummmmmmmm I realize you got this whole complex build number thing going for ya, but why? For what reason?
Yes, you want to get more organized than 1.0, 1.1, 2.0, etc, but there IS middle ground before going to daymonthyear.currenttime.moonphase.favoriteflavoroficecream...

I mean, Zerted got away with simple revision numbers (as does Minecraft's Bukkit dev team) and those are MUCH bigger projects than a map.

Well, the truth is it's a much bigger project than a map(we just don't want to give away everything just yet). Plus, we like doing it this way(else we wouldn't be doing it). I even stopped doing the version number on top of it to make the number shorter(for SWBF3).

Hidden/Spoiler:
YYYYMMDD.TIME

Because it's more organized and it makes it easier to log progress.

EDIT:

All that remains to be done in this map is clean up the Lunar Lander model, fix the thermal detonators in the GCW era to make them the same as in the CW era, and fix the sounds for the AT-TE's non-recoiless laser blasters in the CW era.

EDIT2:

Build 20111115.2322 change log:

Fixed AT-TE laser sounds

Fixed CW assault fighter laser-fire sounds

Gave CW assault fighter powerful missiles similar to SRAMs

Added random explosions in the sky

Fixed dome capital ships

Added a bunch of small dome flyers

Implemented the Doppler effect function
Now all that is left is that pain of a Lunar Lander model, the thermal detonators, and a newly-spawned crash when launching the map in multiplayer.

EDIT 3:

Build 20111120.1224 change log:

Changed the CIS's vehicle color theme to red

Fixed GCW era thermal detonators' gravity
Everything works now and is right, except I'm still working on that blasted Lunar Lander and I also still need to fix that STUPID freaking problems with the multiplayer crashing and the crashing on more-than-one-playthrough with the map.
EDIT 4:

FINALLY fixed that obnoxious crashing issue. This was the problem: viewtopic.php?f=27&t=30001

Upcoming changes for the next version:
- crash-fix as mentioned above
- higher-res boulder textures
- improved collision in Lunar Lander
- possibly different Rebel unit models
- improved Earth sky object
- Mass Effect era support
- possibly improved tunnel system
