Tree leaves?

hi GT
i was recently working with custom trees and i ried to add leaves to one of my models and it didn't work not sure what i did wrong ?

hmm, you have these hardpoint in your model, right?
you could try naming them "hp_something", its unlikely but maybe battlefront needs that to realize that it should keep these.

Have you checked out the leafpatch odf? There could be an error in there....

well its working for the other trees in my map which use the same odf so it can't be an error there
the only thing i can think of is it being an XSI problem?

it doesnt seem likely if battlefront doesnt complain about missing hardpoint for attaching in the log. strange...i really dont know what else could be thr problem

Doubt it'll make a difference, but have you tried a manual clean/munge? It could be that something didn't munge properly last-time you tried. It's unlikely, but possible...

just tried that still no luck
EDIT: i just got it to work only using one leafpatch, so i guess it was the second one that caused the problem... i'll look into it further

Thats weird. Even if one of them was stuffing up somehow, how come the other one didn't work until you removed the stuffed one?
