It's really weird because it take me like 5 mins tops to munge it and the other player models...
I wonder if it has to do with your processer or something. Atleast
it will eventually munge.

I want to god the RC down a bit and fit him into a class.
Rather then the RC having uber health and being a super-everything class, I want to get rid of the sheild, tweak the rifles stregth, get rid of the his sniper rifle and fit him in to my 'recon class'.
My stealth/recon class is composed of the Bothan, Stealth droid (made up), Storm commando and the Republic commando. All my recon units have the stealth mode. Is it okay if I give the commando stealth mode too? I know it isnt

LOL, don't modify my .odf files for weapons! They are perfect! LOL. I'd prefer that you would start from scratch for the .odf files for weapons, but you can use mine as a base, LOL.
Swapping models is not a problem.
And sure, modify the skin of the Clone Commando.

I bought republic commando yesterday, and i'm fan, i compared the swbf2 CC and the RC and...awesome, exactly the same! gooooood work, i think lucasart should come on gametoast and work with some modders from here :p

This is an actual working unit, not just a skin. Here is a Wookieepedia article about them:

Also, MajinRevan I am encountering problems with the first person view for some reason. Would I be allowed to change the ODF to stop the person form entering first person mode until I figure out why it is not working. I haven't modified any ODFs so I'm kinda confused. What happens is that there is no gun or hands but you can still shoot.

Very nice, the Clone Commando looks just like the ones in the Republic Commando game.
It took my PC 45 minutes to munge it the first time but after that it only took a few seconds after some "odf" editing to "unlock" it immediately at the start of the game.
I got all the sounds working also, nice job on those too.
Keep up the excellent work!

perhaps a stupid question but, is it possible to reskin your clone com. like the tga files off trooper? and if yes, don't you think a map with 10 clone commando max vs lot of cis could be cool? like in republic commando? should i ask it in "request thread"?
1stclone in red skin: blaster rifle, pistol and nade
2ndclone in green skin: rc nade-gun, pistol, time bomb
3rdclone in orange skin: sniper, pistol, nade
4thclone in yellow skin: blaster rifle, pistol, mass-attack or vibroblade
what do you think about it?

Like hers, it was my first shots with modelling

and remember I made them almsot 1½ year ago
Should they get remade...?

And hopefully I can actually get a REAL DC17 skin instead of putting some skins from the other weapons together

Which remidns me; Penguin - you've got a texture problem with your DC17

I assume you've noticed it yourself, but there's a HUGE distortion on the 'top' of the weapon: It's all stretched out and I hope you can do better (know you can

) at least that was the problem in your latest map....
Anything else regarding problems etc. for the Clone Command?

Off-Topic: Qdin, I would love a new model. I obviously know that its not for me, but I mean that if you did make one, I would..like it?
I can do a lot on the BF engine, but one thing I cannot do (I'm trying to learn - so far I made a box or doorway or something from the XSI Basics Tutorial..but with school and all its just gonna have to wait..) is model. I've been pretty lucky so far - Rekubot made a nice model for the DH-17..and OOM-9 made another nice model for the DC-15S. The flechette launcher and ARC gun are WIPs..and from what I understand, they are on hold right now due to..as fate would have it..school (hahah I almost typed diet docter pepper, but remembered I never was part of that thread..).
But I haven't had any luck with the DC-17 series.
Also, let me explain some of my justification for liking Penguin's models over yours, so you know its not like I have an intarnart crush on her or think you smell. To put it simply, your models are two crowded with details, that appear poorely done. Akward angles, incorrect size (SWRC is the source for these, so I assume all models would be sized accordingly. An example of this is the size of the Anti-Armour Attachment), and then you have simple bugs like the stock clipping (in first person, you can see 'into' the stock). On the other hand, Penguins models are simple, but more accurate in things such as general shape. Though yours may have many details, they appear of low quality, while Penguins models are clean and sharp.
Now, I have much respect for you, as I have seen your models, and I do appreciate them. Please take no offense from this (I sure as hell hope it doesn't bite me in the Diet Dr. Pepper later on).
On-Topic: No problems for the clone command. Though Majin, I wonder if you could inform me of how you contacted the original makers of the RC model, as I would like to use the Delta Squad Skins.

They're in the BF1 pack 1.7.5 -- look in the stickys in that forum for the spawn names.
