Boras II: Stunt Course - New Version Released!!

This is a Race/Stunt map that's been in the works on and off now for a bit and was half inspired by the bf1 mod map boonta eve. This however is a much larger and more varied track.
There are Many Sections to the track.

1. West Trail
This is where the race begins for the good guy teams (rep and reb) in the west hanger, then it goes through a series of jumps through a large cravase.

2. Dried River Bed
The Dried River bed is a small maze of routes that lead out of the west trail to the gorge, depending which route you take you will either going down the speed shoot into the gorge or the super jump to certain doom

3. The Gorge
This is a giant valley in the ground you come into from the speed shoot or the super jump, at the base there is a neutral cp. after going down the shoot you go up a bumpy steep ascent ending with a kick-jump into Loqi Park

4. Loqi Park
This is a stunt park with a suspended stunt area above a neutral cp surrounded by several bespin-ish buildings, there are many different jumps here including one of the millenium falcon and a huge half-pipe, the loqi park exits through a wall route.

5. Hillside
After Loqi Park you have the choice of going through 2 routes, one of them is the hillside which has some very large and hard jumps to survive that come one after the other. The Ai do not take this route.

6. Greenrock Passage
The other Route to take would be Green Rock Passage which is a pass through the hillside thats twists and turns with bumpy terrain, this is especially hard with on-coming speeders from the opposite team as well as controling the turns so u dont crash on the walls. It's exit has a neutral cp

7. Valley Jump
Exiting Greenrock Passage you come to the Valley Jump which is a large jump over a small valley and is relatively easy to do but fun.

8. Far East Trail
After the Valley jump you have two choices for routes which take you back into the cliff bottoms on the other side of the east cliff, one going on the far east Trail which goes through a series of jumps like on east trail and takes you to the cave.

9. The Cave is a small hanger for the evil team (cis/imp) and there is also a trail past the cave that leads to the east Trail that goes to the main east Hanger

10. East Trail, like the Far East Trail leads from the Valley Jump to the East Hanger which is another evil team hanger.

Anyway as I said its a huge map and is a lot of fun to race on, and the motion paths for the ai speeders do work so they race along the track too. This map will be available for both bf1 and bf2, the bf1 version will be coming out first. I will be releasing this sometime this week like around wed-fri

This is what I've been waiting for - a Boonta Eve with AI that knows how to race. I can't freaking wait, dude.

sry i couldn't get screens in just yet (i was designing this on another comp). Anyway For Sure the BF1 Version of this Map will be released on Wedensday, the bf2 version, if all goes well will be released on Thursday, and possibly even Late Wedensday

It was a really cool map. But actually i didnt have even a bit fun in it :cry:, i just died died died died died died died and died, every jump you make you die!!!

the jumps take practice, its all about speeding up and slowing down, and to avoid crashing u just jump out of ur bike before impact and then back in. Of course there are some jumps like the one over the gorge that are impossible to survive with out abandoning the bike. Also if u follow the ai u wont die cuz they are able to make it around the map, however anyway when i get the lighting figured out for my conversion and edit the sides so bikes will be invensible this will no longer be a problem

well man, i was thinking 'bout racing maps and thought,

"Well wouldn't it be just swell if you could unlock different bikes. Well hold on, bf2 engine doesn't quite support that. Oh well... Hey, if you were to totally create additional bikes, with either more defense, more speed, or more power, and station them along the track, it would be almost like that! The player would jump off his/her bike and get onto the other one during the race."

As i got into more detail, I thought, a mine laying bike would be cool, that layed emp charges that temporarily disabled the opponent. I also thought about neutral/capturable cps along the way that when captured would serve as "checkpoints".

Those are some hardy suggestions from yours truly.

It's actually pretty good. I can't really find my way around though... Are you gonna make invincible speeder bikes for the BF1 version? Becasue that would be REALLY cool.
