Its alright for a first skin, but I don't really like the stripe by the nose.

Here is a new Version, I removed the stripe on the nose and tried to make it a little bit scatchy:

Its better, but the stripe needs to blend in a little more.

What do you mean with "blend"? Reducing transparency?

It just looks kinda painty, I guess you could say. It sticks out there and doesn't look like it fits on the armor.

In GIMP, fix this by pressing ctrl+U, which brings you to the blur. Still, it looks cool, try to blur it a bit indeed, and snudge (hotkey s) it a bit on the helmet, so that the stripes fit the helmet (now, it's still a block above the visor)

Still, it looks promising man!

Blur tool, saturation, opacity, defferent paint tools.

Don't cover the whole skin in a cover. the black parts that are like the gloves and all turn red, so go for a more red armour effect. I like the helmet.

The eyes look very painty.

I agree SilvaDalek. The ingame apperance would look a lot better than what is here. I will also have darker lighting so it will blend nicely.
