Nice! I didn't really understand the first part (was that John talking to a childhood friend?) but the rest of it was pretty amazing. Do you think this one is pre-rendered? The last one wasn't and it looked pretty much the same. I sure love that new shield grenade though, and if this is real in-game footage, check how every single brute looks different from one another .

Heh, I just showed my brother this trailer and he's considering getting an Xbox 360 for Christmas!

Me and my brother looked at it, and decide that the guy isn't John, but maybe another male spartan.

I think it was pre-rendered too. But being pre-rendered or not, that's pretty sweet!!

EDIT: Alot of people are saying there is a scope on the pistol, but I have gone through the film twice frame by frame and have found no such evidence suggesting a scope. I also took a good look at both of the children, and it doesn't look like anything the book desctibes he looks like. I can't put a name to the girl, but Maybe someone else can do that.

Th trailer is pre-rendered, but using game models. Bungie outsourced it because they didn't have the time to throw together a trailer.

The first part, if you didn't get it, is a hallucination or flashback to the chief's childhood (while he was in training), because he was just knocked out by a wraith plasma blast.
