Thanks for that report Mav' that really helps a lot...

So is the arena and scenery good enough or not? i understand about the tunnels though, i will change them ...

Yeah i must agree, i really do need to work on conquest a lot more.

Well, I made a bunch of notes while playing but Maveritchell seems to have covered most of them. Here's what I got:

1) Changing the ground texture would be nice. At the moment it looks pretty generic and un-sand-like. Something simple like this might do the trick.
2) A loading screen would be cool.
3) The capture region for command posts 1 and 4 need to be moved towards the arena more. You have to go pretty far inside in order to capture them.
4) Lighting needs to be added for specularity, bump mapping, shadows etc.
5) Spawn nodes ought to be placed outside the doors to ensure that the AI don't get caught against those one sided objects that Mav mentioned.
6) If you could add the script which allows the computer to use heroes, it would make the teams more even.
7) In Assault mode you might consider adding locals such as Jango Fett, Aayla Secura, Obi-Wan, Anakin, Ki Adi Mundi and Mace Windu. They would basically be non-playable characters running around helping their respective teams. I'd take away any force abilities they have as well as taking away any knock back from their lightsabers. That way they won't be as annoying. Jango could stay as he is though. He would be a loner after all. Not sure how you'll feel about this one - perhaps you have other plans.
8) The map would probably be better off if it was smaller and more compact if the focus is going to be on conquest mode. XL mode will probably be the only mode suited for such a large map but since it doesn't work I can't test it out.
9) Some custom music would be awesome.
10) Animations would add a lot of atmosphere to the map. Something simple like LAAT/is flying in and out would do fine. They don't even have to drop units - you could simply attach a computer-controlled turret or two and have them shoot out green lasers every time they get within range of the CIS.

My suggestions are just to make the level more polished really, there really is nothing drastic that HAS to be changed. It'll just be cooler in my opinion. That said, it's definitely a good start. It just needs a little bit more refining.

Here is my review,

- Add Geonosis turrents as seen in THIS picture
- I think the ground texture looks good because it was a sandy color as seen in THESE
- Maybe have a Reek running around in the Arena that is on neither side (if it isn't to hard to make a model)
- If you want it would be cool to have CP's up in the Arena edge (like for the mode for Jedi vs Droids) because in the movie that is where the Jedi came from and still fought but if it would cause the AI to be stupid than it could be left out
- Change the name to Geonosis: Arena (optional)
- Have a loading screen
- Change the sky
- I don't know if you noticed but around the edge of the Arena the edges are messed up as seen in THIS picture

I have two suggestions at the moment.

1. Add two or three gunships around the clone Command Post, so it's more like the movie.
2. Add some more detail in the stands. Those tent things (see picture in delta 47's post) would add a nice touch.

Also, I had a startup crash in Clone Wars hunt, and a crash after choosing my character in Hero Assault.

Actually I did read that, I was in such a hurry because I had to go do something that by the time I got finished testing I forgot about it and I thought he said he only left the sides out, sorry anyway :oops:

I had no crashes starting up but one after I chose my character in Hero Assault. That reminds me when I made a mini mod a while back (my very first mod ever) I used Coruscant and loaded my units Clone Troopers vs Jedi, I used totally default Jedi and just called them up in the script but every time I spawned as a unit the game crashed. I can't remember how many times I tried to get it to work but it crashed every time, just something that came to my mind as this is the same problem :?

I know "technically" I'm part of this project, but for obvious reasons, I'm going to have to drop out of it. Maybe I'll give you some CW realism sides after summer break, and you can make a 1.5 or something.

Guys, i have been really really buisy with other maps for my mod, but i have not forgot about this map, all of your ideas/bugs have been taken into consideration and i will be making this map as good as it can be.

In the mean-time, just relax and check this thread everyday or so. This will be finished.
