Well, I've downloaded and played the game but I don't think that it's as good as everybody says. I got bored REALLY quickly. Maybe the single-player is better, but you actually have to buy the game for that.

theres supposed to be a steep learning curve so maybe thats why you got bored w/ it reku
Edit: Ok so I just finished a huge session on FEAR multiplayer and I gotta say that I totally disagree with Reku. That was some of the most fun, addictive FPS ive played in a while. Regualr deathmatch is awesome but it really shines in team DM, people actually work as a team

And as for realism i gotta say that Fear multiplayer strikes just the right balance of fun and intensity. You live long enough to take a couple of bullets but taking a couple shots isnt something you just brush off either. Also in team DM its almost impossible to get some little punk who will ruin the game because 1) throwing a nade while you're in the middle of a room of buddies will only hurt you, so theres really no TK's and 2) theres almost no wall glitching. Its
almost nonexistent because while you can do it in like two select areas, you can flush them out easy with nades no prob. (so far ive only seen one glitch and thats on a roof.)
And the graphics are beautiful to boot. In a gory, macabre, flying body parts kinda way. This game is about as close as you can get to the intensity and addictiveness of Halo 2 w/out leaving your PC. (Battlefield 2 excluded) Combine all of that with the fact that its free and you have a thoroughly fun game on your hands
My Score: 9/10
graphics-9 (awesome)
sound-9 (very convinving)
gameplay-9 (very intense, very satasying and very addictive, only hurt by the fact that some guns are a little over powered on certain levels)
presentation-9 (very polished)
value-10 (you cant beat free)
Lasting Appeal- 9 (DM takes a good bit of skill but I think its the team DM that will keep me coming back 2 months down the line)

Off-topic : I usually depreciate being eventually forced to censore or lead to the Abortion of Conversations which might have possibly implicated and introduced interesting and suitable Resources, but I would want
GameToast members having inserted messages into this topic to have a look at the Contents and Stuffs being shared inside
this exact Location, since the latest Suggestion having been phrased inside it is actually referring to the
Monolith Productions® Devising you have all argued about previously. Incidentally, leaving the current Place as being freely usable any longer would not match the Requirements imposed so as to keep
GameToast Bulletin-Board as much Organized and Clean as possible, but I have nevertheless preferred letting around members to go on exploiting it within the Weeks and Months to come, partly thanks to the fact the aimed Entertainment Software has been reviewed and studied through the last reply contained into this thread...

Off-topic : In fact, having proceeded so was not eventually required, since the Sticky I may have talked about through my precedent message is primarily intended to gather Resources, Precise Details and Download URL's referring to the Entertainment Products supposed to be mentioned inside it, which merely implies having transferred your above Review towards this same Location would not have presented that many advantages, and that's why I have preferred leaving it over its current Place rather than locking or even deleting it in order to make the concerned Monolith Productions® Devising to be only dealt into the ""Free Game" Topic". Consequently, having decided to move this Textual Document towards the suggested thread was actually far from being that imposed...
