Begun Beta 3 test phase has!

The beta3 has been already tested on 2 AMD 3XXX PCs,1 gig RAM with 256 (nvidia) and 512 MB (ATI) Graphic boards.

If you ran into any trouble, gamecrashes ect. please post your PC specs too!

If possible use Fraps to check your Framerate and report here too!

MOST IMPORTAND!
I´m very interested how the map works and plays online!
Please don´t host the Conquests modes but Hunt mode!
Conquests will probably CTD your Host or Client PC!
Hunt is the same (or at least similar) as Conquest but without ubermode and local side!

Beta3 will end September 26 and the final will follow soon after.

The cantina was a massive improvement over the last one. Can't wait till all the animated props are in it.

yes, its much better than the last one, it feels more realistic and less "deserted"

I'm downloading it now. An idea just sprang up with me (actually, a fix). I once read that the reason that multiplayer crashes is because the soldieranimationpool is too low. May I suggest to try that out and see if it works then?

Hey I just played this map and once again, its beautiful.

The only major problem I had when playing was that after about 5 minutes into playing conquest, the game suddenly slowed down to 1fps. I was able to restart the mission and didn't have that problem again.

PC Specs:
Hidden/Spoiler:
OS: Microsoft XP Home Edition 5.1 Build 2600
Model: Dell Dimension 2350
BIOS: Phoenix - AwardBIOS v6.00PG
Processor: Intel Pentium 4 CPU 2.00GHz
Vid Card: NVIDIA GeForce FX 5500 (256MB)
Not sure if I'm forgetting any relevant information.

Minor bugs I noticed:

The new floating droid gets killed when a speeder runs into it (whereas most droids and units get pushed out of the way). The AI driving the speeders never seem to have a definite direction, usually just ambling about and creating a road obstacle. The cups in your cantina seem to be inverted or something. They look funny.

No, the soldieranimation pool is already high enough, but thx for mention it.

Guess the Sentry droid exlode because it´s so small wereare the other droids are bigger and pushed away often.

And yes the Cups are already on the todo list. No idea why your fps dropped down to 1fps. I remember someone mention it in the first beta years ago too.

Yeah, that was me too :) I didn't have that problem since the first beta though.

Ok:

-You would want to localize ur sniper rifle to E11x-sniperblabla

-the rocket launcher in conquest mode has the same prob

-I believe u should also localize the mortar launcher of the imp officer(I believe it also had a designation)

-Since the imp officer is basically a stormie now, you should give it stormie sounds(more like the follow me kind)

-Boba still doesn't have an EE3

-Finally, in conquest mode most of ur droids aren't localized(the floating probe isnt)
Since it isn't a [NULL] and just a blank space, I believe u didnt localize double languages for the droids.

Seriously though, gj! :thumbs: :greeny: Cantina is way better now too.

I miss-typed

I do have 1.3 installed. The LOCALS are the ones who show blank spaces and not [NULL]. This indicates u localized em in 1 english only.

The weapons I reported DO show the stock localization. So u must not have localized em yet.

Is it possible for you to make it so that Boba throws the flame from it's arm and not from a rifle? Perhaps if you give the flame Boba's hand rocket anim...

That would be too complicated (though I'm not the expert here), and I don't see how it would improve the map other than adding to the realism.

The sniper rifle: E-11s sniper rifle

Rocket launcher imp: MiniMag PTL missile launcher

Mortar launcher imp: lol actually I forgot. Perhaps : V-6d mortar launcher

The droids were: Mark IV Sentry Droid(the floating white/black one)

The many arms one is a : WED-15 Septoid Treadwell

The hemisphere was: LIN demolitionmech autonomous minelayer or "LIN Demolitionmech" in short

excellent work on the 3rd beta Rends its definitely going to be one of those classic maps thats a must have in anyones addon folder once you feel its completed 8)

I've just played the 3rd beta. Great stuff.

Bugs N strange things:
-The cantina's roof is missing.
-I see no customers at the cantina, were they suposed to be implemented in this version?

Things I really liked:
-New flying objects, one ship even lands on bay 1 and takes of (I got on top of it with boba fett and flied around the city a little bit :D).
-Colission models, excelent work.
-New droids all over the city
-Worked interiors, I was really looking forward to it.
-Rodians in! But female twileks out... :?
-Nice Imperial base

Things you could add:
-Automatic doors. It would be great if you could add them and even make some house interiors. Like... take cover! and you get inside a house (like in the Lok map, dunno who's the author).
-New rebel uniforms. I don't know you, but I don't like the dessert uniforms they have.
-More flying ships. It's not actually a need, but the more the better.

No roof missing. It´s open above the dispenser.
Customers will be in the final.

Droids are localiced for your language now but i will leave stock weapons. Just checked the official maps and they comes also with same weapon names.

I also found that the civvies will respond to the follow me command, and I was able to get fifteen civilians following me at once. Most of them got shot by stormies, though :P .
