Blender UV mapping HELP

So I used Blender to do UV mapping as the interface is more user friendly for me,
So these are the steps I took
1. Made my model in XSI Mod Tool
2. Exported it in .obj format
3. Imported to Blender
4. created a new material > created a new texture and chose the image in .tga format >Uv mapped in on > clicked on the the mesh > exported it in .obj format > imported in in XSI mod tool > exported it into .msh format
5. I looked at it using SWBF viewer and the there is no texture in it
Note: yes i made sure the texture file was in the folder and when I imported it using .obj i clicked to also import the uv mapping and relative parts
in the Viewer i clicked on the info button and it only showed the material and not the textures need, which means somehow the texture was not import
I have used this method before and has worked yet I have not done this in a while so I may have forgotten a step
Any help would be appreciated thanks

Which version of Blender are you using?

Did the model have its UVs when you re-imported it back into XSI Mod Tool?

im using the current version of Blender and no the UV's were lost during transition or maybe they were never set on in Blender. In blender all i do is add a new material and new texture then I open the UV mapping and arrange the UV's according to the image. After it looks fine i just click export am I missing a step?

If the UVs aren't visible in XSI Mod Tool, then they're not gonna be there if you export it to .msh

Try using a different model format when transferring from Blender to XSI, like .fbx or .dae

Posting your Blender .scene is an option if you'd like me to take a look at it.

https://www.dropbox.com/s/1197dkdpoepfz ... lend1?dl=0 = blender file
https://www.dropbox.com/s/pqxj9iun69w22 ... 4.tga?dl=0 = .tga file
this is a test to find the problem simpler
here is the link to it, try to save it as a .obj and import it to modtool and export it and see if the UV's transfer over

I don't personally use XSI Mod Tool, so I can't test that.

But here, I set up materials the way I do. You can test it yourself. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/454 ... t_cube.zip

I tried your blend file and convered it to .obj and imported it and exported it yet no it did not work, i also tried your .obj file and converted it yet it did not work
Hidden/Spoiler:

As seen above it show the materials but it does not show the textures that are needed,
are the textures needed getting lost?

edit: havent fix it yet any thoughts or comments will be helpful.
