What is the Difference between a Polygon mesh and a Surface.

What is the Difference between a Polygon mesh and a Surface.

In Model-Get-Primitve there are: Surfaces and Polygon meshes. i use polygon meshes but surfaces are the same to me. is tehre a difference between them?

Yes, the main difference being that the game engine doesn't support surfaces, if you model using NURBS then you'll need to convert them to Polygon Mesh objects prior to exporting.

i did notice they are smoother. is there a way to convert the NURBS into a polygon mesh?
