In KOTOR II ive played as both girl and boy and different characters come in. Hanharr follows u when u r a girl. Techinaclly he "can' become good.

The new evil heros r Malak and Revan i think. (There could be more). They arent exactly new since they r in the mod/map pack but what the heck.

Actually, Hanharr follows when you are evil, and Mira when you're good. You're confused with Handmaiden or Disciple
Hanharr is evil, believe me. He killed his entire own village and did more naughty things :P

This reminds me, some modmaps have that annoying glitch that when you have an award rifle or pistol you can't switch weopons back after you switch. I REALLY hate that. Is it possible to uhm.. solve that? Or did you guys allready manage to solve that problem

Uhhh... MC Malak and Revan were like the first skins to be done.

Hanharr is evil, and so is Chuundar. I'm going to see if I can do a Darth Bandon skin, but I'm not going to waste tons of time perfecting it. I've already spent to much time on Mission, whom I will probably drop due to the fact that there are errors on her tentacles and I've tried all the solutions I've found here at GT.

Hhmm I know you have probably already done this a hundred times but have you read all the tentacle info in the Jedi Creation doc?

Yeah.. I even flat out used Aayla's model and then loaded Aayla as a parent msh, but it didn't work.

i hate to be critical after all the hard work you've done, but i really think that there should be a first release of this, and i'm not just saying that because i badly want to play it. (i do badly want to play it by the way)
i think that you could keep adding features to this indefinitely and it would keep on getting better and better. problem is, people can only wait so long before they start getting bored. i know i personally have not been checking this thread out as often as i used to. this map could really use a first release, followed by upgrades, and add ons, and more playable characters. that's what versions are for. i also think it would be good to get a release out before you guys get bored of working on it too, its just human nature that attention spans run out...

It's their decision......and if they don't like Beta-version (as me) they must not release a beta.....i prefer FINALS through...........

Guess what -- you don't always get what you want. You'll just have to wait. :roll: :roll: :roll: :roll: :roll: And if you had read the posts, you'd find out that I'm only adding features because I'm waiting for Bandu to finish the world architecture. There will NOT BE a beta release. The archi is not done. These things take time. If you want crap, I wouldn't have a problem releasing it. But I guaruntee if we released it now, people would whine and moan and complain about things that don't work right. :x

On a related note, I finished Mission Vao last night. I made her a Jedi Padawan. She wields one blue saber and one Vibroblade. She's got force jump and force pull, but not speed.

Hanharr has Chewbacca's weapons, and Chuundar will have a Vibroblade and Rage.

You're right, people tend to lose interest over time, but the dev's keep feeding us with some small pieces of info (vibrosword pic for example) in order to keep us interested and enthusiatic. And releasing a basic version, with better versions to come makes poor non-Flatraters (?) and non-DSL-guys resign, as they have to download a new version every week.
Also, a bad first version may make people also reject all following version.

Dev's, IMO , you're on the right way. Continue like this.

Once iv got my Diet Dr. Pepper in gear and finish the modeling it will be released as a final. There will only be another version after that if there are some big bugs we missed or if theres something incredibly cool we can add to it .

Well, you have to be a Padawan, before you can be a Jedi Knight, and maybe ends up up as a Jedi Master later on.

I made her a Jedi Padawan because the animations don't allow for me to do anything else. Because she has Twi'lek tentacles, she MUST use Aayla's animations. Making her hold two Vibroswords would mean constantly moving then rechecking the offsets to get her left hand sword to line up, as it's essentially a hack by Pandemic to get a second saber in the first place.

New characters are completed. Just to recap:

Atton Rand -- Flamethrower, Rifle, Shotgun
Bao-Dur (made a Jedi Knight) -- Green Lightsaber, Saber Throw, Force Pull
Mission Vao (Jedi Padawan due to animations) -- 1x Vibroblade, 1x blue lightsaber, Force Pull, no jedi run
Hanharr -- same weapons as Chewbacca
Chuundar -- 1x Vibroblade, detpacks


I'd be all over doing a Darth Bandon, but his face is pretty tricky to get right.

So mission is a reskinned Jedi Padawan ? Or an Aayla with Padawan Animations ? Or something completely different ?

Bao-Dur seems a little...boring, just a default weapon combination. Maybe you could make him wield a single saber, but have dual-sabers animations ? Ask Fiminopter, he did so in his Jedi Témple map.
