I went back and changed the post so pvtparts has his name in it.
Anyway, I've made up some weapons for the Rebel Commando (that's what I'm calling him)
The first weapon is an enhanced blaster rifle. (I thought the cis blaster rifle looked good on him.)
Second weapon a sort of a rocket launcher but weaker and with a faster firing rate. It's meant to take out enemy defense installations.
I think I'm gonna reskin the weapon to better match the user.

Just remember that the actual skin of the trooper belongs to pvtparts. I only created the satchel and weapon skins.
The size of the r4 unit is just because of the perspective.
I'm not sure about the firing rate yet.

Yes, I solved the sectors and portals problem but I also discovered a limitation to portals and sectors.
They don't affect destructable objects. So anything destructable is seen at all times.
Sooo, I had compromise. (It's really not that bad.)
There will be 2 variations of this map. (in 1 package)
I'm using the eras setting to do this.
1 version will be a 1 on 1 capitol ship battle (with many many frigates to take up the space)
This version shall have the complete interiors.
2nd version will be a 4 on 4 capitol ship battle (still with many frigates).
This one will have lesser interiors (yet still grander than pandemic's).
sry I had to do this but this is the only way I can keep this stable enough for multiplayer.

I see you finally moved the planet below the battle. That's great. Looks more like the Battle of Endor now. Now all you need is the Death Star, some laser effects, and some capital ships in the backround and it'll really look like the Battle of Endor.

OMG, incredible screens. The concussion missile screen is now my desktop.
In the 1-capital mode, is there a mode that contains fighting only in the interiors ? Would be cool to have something purely "interioristic" (^^).
And a little suggestion: The font you use for "created by xwingguy" makes it look like written by hand - and this neither fits the other text message nor the technical space battle.
