UV map missing after envelopes/merging

Ok, I lost my entire UV-map for one of my models after merging, by accident. Or it was lost after enveloping processes I dunno. Anyway it lost the UV map now and I REALLY don't wanna slog thru to remake it. I can't undo back to normal.
Inside my model is something labeled "Scene_Material (Scene_Root)" and inside are some stuff called "Phong". Is that a sign of hope?
If not...is it possible to transfer UV projections between models...?

There is a button called "merge Materials/UV" or something like that when you merge objects, make sure you use that one the next time.

"phong" is the standard shader of the "Scene_Material" that is automatically applied to all objects, so no, thats no sign of hope
you can transfer an UV from one model to a 100% similiar one by opening the texture editor, selecting the model with the proper UV and clicking edit>copy UVs, then select the other model and click edit>paste UVs (both with either all or none vertexes selected)
with "GATOR" you are supposed to be able to transfer UVs and more between two pretty similiar models, but in case the UVs are split up in several clusters/texture projections it wont work
