Localizing problem

Post by agzilla123 »

Lol, it has been awhile since I have posted here. :D

Anyway, it is hard to say exactly what the problem is. My localization tool may actually be working fine, and here is why.

It was a couple of months ago when i used the localization tool (multi-language whatever) and it worked perfectly. I successfully localized couple of things with it. Now, I cannot get the tool to work. i cannot even open it. The actual program found in ToolsFL keeps saying that, "Multilanguage Tool has stopped working and needs to close." I cannot open my saved multilanguage file, although I am not sure if what I was trying to open was the right one.

Basically, I think I have forgotten how to run this tool. So, where do you run it from, and where are the saved files kept that are used in your map?

Any help would be appreciated.

it's supposed to be run by clicking on a .bat file in data_ABC. its called editlocalize.bat

i don't remember where the save files are, but i think it will find them itself

Interesting. Running this .bat file normally gets the black .bat screen thing to appear, but an error soon appears saying, "MultiLanguage Toll MCF Application has stopped working," and the usual error garbage. Running it as an administrator, as I have Windows Vista, does not result in an error, but the black .bat file box things disappears as quickly as it appears and nothing happens afterwords.

Any ideas on what is wrong?

any help would be appreciated?

If the tool in the bin folder doesn't run, as stated, then the problem lies therein, not in the batch files copied around.

It was working before, but it is not now.

Any help would be appreciated.
