Strange Issue

Post by iamastupid »

I think the problem is 'moving layers'
Where the [Base] and terrain does not align with the other layers or vice versa in-game once munged.
For example.

CP <<<<<<<<<< This is the command post (Conquest layer)
_____ < Let's say this is the surface in the zeroeditor (Base Layer)

Then in game this happens:

CP
_____

This is causing many issues and is one I encountered in the past (I can't remember if there was a fix for it)
I've had it on 2 maps now, both use a single model as the entire map, one was for testing Acclamator interiors the other being a BF2 conversion of Whomps Fortress (I got bored again), I have just moved the models in [Base] so when in-game they allign but if this becomes more frequent of a problem maps like my BF3: Tatooine and another s2g map I found on my hard drive are at high risk of being greatly effected, pls help.

This happens when you resize your terrain after there's already objects in your map. I wanna say that there is not a fix for it, but I could be wrong.

The problem is I haven't resized the terrain.
I create the map
Put models on it
Munge

These are small maps, I don't need to resize the terrain.
