Here is v1.0 of my map Earth: Afghanistan Village. Featuring both stock eras on a custom map, and a custom era with 100% custom sides and sounds. v1.0 features:

-loadscreen
-tight, close quarters fighting map
-custom sides
-the close quarters class has fast fire rate low damage
-the other classes are slow fire rate slow damage
-the sniper is a 1 to 2 shot kill
-custom scopes for all the weapons with scopes
-custom sounds
-custom explosions
-satellite shot
-LOTS of command posts (9 to be exact on a small map = intense)

TO DO FOR V2.0 AFTER THE BETA TESTERS FINISH THEIR REPORTS:

-minimap
-custom ambient music (a whistling wind sound to simulate a sandstorm(please see my topic cannot get music working))
-any beta testers recommendations.

I would suggest using an upload site that doesn't require others to have an account/login in order to download your map. I use mediafire, but there are others.

You don't need an account/login for Dropbox if you do it right, don't know how it'd be done otherwise. You just right click on a file, go to Dropbox > Get Link.

I must be missing something here, because when I click on the link provided it takes me to a screen asking me to sign in...

Loopy, try right clicking on the file and selecting share public link.

Looks like your still missing the high res weapon shadows man.

I know you said it was simple but it crashed my map every time I will implement for v2.0 if I can.

Lol. My map/mod plan was desert, snow, indoor sci-fi (a space station to be exact) Because by the time my snow map is finished I will be close to finishing my schools use of softimage 2013. Even if im not I learned enough to be able to map indoors. Build the entire thing in softimage then break it up into chunks for ZE. Texturing it would be a !@#$ hard task but I'll manage.

indoor is pretty easy but you have to make a lot of decoration props or your map will looks like sh*t.
for me outside is harder then indoor

Oh no worries there I will have lots of decorations, simple props. IE billboards and posters and lots of lighting but for now I gotta build 2.0 of this so cya
