yeah, but a YT freighter only has like one gun and poor army, the falcon was heavily modifed to have better/bigger engines, military grade weapons, secret weapons, improved armor, etc

The YT-2000 has a laser cannon on the top and bottom similar to the falcon but with only one barrel, but remember this is the rebel allience if they had any YT-2000s then they would have been brought in by people joining the allience so they could already be modified, meaning that it can have the pilot with a laser cannon and concussion missiles, the copilot with guided missiles, the two gunners with laser cannons and space for 2 passangers.
I like the idea of using the YT-2000 and i dont think it would be too hard for someone experienced in XSI to make, it looks faster than the other transports though perhaps it could be made faster but a bit weaker.

the falcon also had a top of the line imperial deflector shield system, look at how many shots that thing took in ESB, tie lasers are pretty Diet Dr. Pepper strong.

The falcon has exactally 3 shield generators:
-a novaldex stasis-type port and starboard sheild generator
-a torplex fore deflector sheild generator
-a kuat drive yard aft deflector shield generator
just incase anyone wanted to know.

Have you made any progress with the flyable frigates
its no easy task i tried it myself and everything just totally crashed im gonna go work on it some more
i hope you have better luck than i did
i relly hope you can get it to work i cant wait to drive those things around

I got some of the hallways down. I really like how they're coming out now; it seems to be more user friendly than the original (crashing) version. Have a pic:

I tried adding interriors to a cap ship and i just couldnt get it right, my problem is the doors. is there any model useable as a locked door that can cover an entire tantive hallway?

Just wondering:
Will there be any opportunity to leave the starship and walk on the cap's surface ?
Idea: Release a plan of the cap ship made in ZE from high above.People can download and print it and will no longer get lost within the cap.

Is that a gunery room i see in the screenshot? if so, i have a great idea! you should make a gunnery room have an energy generator. if the energy generator is destroyed, the turbolaser/ion cannon on the outside should shut down. Like an Auto-Defense mainframe

i tink the interior as shown in the pict is already more than enough for 100 meters..u sure u want to go down another 5x of that screenshot??it might get quite tough...well anyway i hope all goes well for these map
