Do people care if future custom user/server scripts for v1.4 have to be released as lua files instead of lvl files? If you are concerned about exposing your code, you could use a basic lua that simply loaded your lvl (but I'd rather people not do that for personal reasons). Sounds fair?

how can i get the menue.bat?? i donwloaded the version 129 from page 22 megaupload. i choosed only the guids when the Instalation guid asked, but there isn't a menue.bat in any SWBFII folder.

The menu batch file of the previous versions of the patch is just like the installer of this latest version. If you want to change some options, then you will need to run the installer again. It's small in file size, and it installs very quickly, so there shouldn't be a problem.

Hi, I am new to this site and I just had a quick question about the r117 and r129 versions of the v1.3 Patch:

Is the r117 version compatible with Windows 7? Also when I click on the DL link for the r129, I can't download it because it has been removed from gamefront, so is there somewhere else I can download it?

If you install both, I believe you should install the 1.2 patch first, then the 1.3 patch.

[HELP]: I don't want the new HUD

So I downloaded the .exe version from filefront but the problem is I don't want the new HUD. Is there a way I can make it go back to the original HUD but keep the rest of the patch?

Run the menu again, I think 6 is to remove the HUD, it should tell you anyways.

This is probably a stupid question but what menu? The fakeconsole menu? And what do you mean by 6? Sorry for not knowing this...

There is no menu.bat. There is also nothing in the addon folder related to the 1.3 patch.

The mneu.bat looks like a little whitebox with a babyblue gaer in it. it says "menu" right next to it. If you want us to help you a bit better, try shooting some screenies.

Ok I took some screenshots of what I have in my AddOn folder and my LVL_PC folder.
(I am running this on a Mac with a windows emulator (wine wrapper) so that is why the screenshots are from the Mac OS. But don't worry I have a copy of the game )

AddOn folder LVL_PC See? No menu.bat. But the patch is still fully installed, the fakeconsole works great and I don't have the visual sides. So...

the AAA-v1.3patch folder needs to be in the addon folder.

EDIT: I figured out how to fix it. I didn't have the latest r129, and I also had to install it a special way. But it has everything as I want it now!

I didn't create that setup version nor have I tested it.

The only 'official' download link for v1.3 is in the first post of this topic. My website used to be the official link, but it's offline due to router issues. r129 was never posted to Filefront. If you downloaded something from Filefront you don't have the latest version (v1.3 r129).

If you have a menu.bat, you don't have the latest version.

v1.3 works without the AAA-v1.3patch folder, but it'll be missing the following features: Map limit warning, Leia bug fix, all configurable options (HUD, award effects, and wasn't there one more?)
