Particle Editor: Not A Typical Question!

Post by Taivyx »

Alrighty, so I've used the fix in the FAQ, and have updated it with -_-'s Particle Editor Update.

It was running perfectly for about a week, and I was well on my way to learning how to edit effects with PE.
But then, I tried running two instances of Particle Editor at a time, and got the Windows error message. You know how it goes.
"test1 Module.exe has encountered a problem, and has to close. We are sorry for any inconvenience"

So, I let it be, then tried to run PE again the next day.
Now, when I start PE, there is no grid with a gray background. All I see where the grid should be are the windows behind it.
This problem persists when I try to open a fx.

I tried reinstalling -_-'s Particle Editor Update, but to no avail. The problem still lingers.

Any help?

If that description wasn't clear enough, I'll try to upload some screenies later, but I'm feeling lazy now :P

So no one knows?

Excuse the DP, but should I just reinstall the mod tools then?

Just re-extract the particle editor executable from the mod tools zip file.
