Hello there Gametoast, some of you may recognize the name of this map and no it is not a bump of a 3 year old topic. Jaspo has been so kind as to finish off the map where I had left off 3 years ago, and not just that he added some cool extras in to top it all off.

Before I go off rambling on how excellent of a job Jaspo did on refurbishing this map I had made so long ago I will give you a download link:
http://starwarsbattlefront.filefront.co ... est;119712

What's new?
-added a minimap.
-reverted to stock sides.
-moved the loadscreen code in the mission scripts so it does not start
loading with the default loadscreen and then switch to the custom one.
-plugged some holes and covered some imperfections in the caves/tunnels.
-fixed survival mode...had to rescript it twice from scratch, too; it is
listed as cw assault in the mission list.
-added a lazer tag mission (will crash if my lazer tag mod is not installed.)
-fixed damage regions on the barbed wire barriers.
-added a couple of camera shots

Credits:
Jaspo - An excellent job on fixing up the map and adding cool extras
Bobfinkl - Making the map and scripting of campaign mode
Caedus - German Translation, Beta Testing
TheUltimat - Beta Testing
Black9_Knight - Beta Testing
Goolash - Beta Testing
Jedijack - Beta Testing
Glusent - Beta Testing
MrDude121 - Beta Testing
Eddie - Barbed Wire Barrier Prop
Possibly a few more beta testers whom I may have forgotten

Thanks again Jaspo you really did a great job.

Enjoy everyone!

I think I remember this map, I liked it. The d'ld link doesn't work. SWBFFiles says something about invalid map ID.

Yes, I have the same problem with SWBFFiles right now. Just refresh the page until it works. This goes for anyone who encounters this problem too.

Can't find the "fun" in survival mode. Kept getting a defeat triggered even when reinforcements were left and I still had a CP.

Does the campaign crash? Last time I played this (a year ago or two) when I tried campaign it crashed. I'll play it and see what happens.

Sorry, I didn't go into great detail about the technical workings of survival mode.
It's actually survival/hold the fort mode. So, if the imps capture and hold the cavern cp, you lose.
The mission uses conquest logic, but there are only two cps added to the mission, the imp's middle one and the rebel one in the cavern. The middle imp cp is uncapturable, so that the player cannot win by conquest (actually its capture region is floating high above the map in the general vicinity of the caves) There are only two cps included in conquest so the imps can't drain your reinforcements unless they have the cavern cp and have triggered the defeat timer anyway.

If that doesn't explain any problems you might be having, then I guess I haven't had the same problems.

Kind've a critical detail that got left out there. I'm sure that's what happened, since every playthrough I just hunkered down in a bunker outside. Would have been a fun experience if it had been documented somewhere what the player needed to do.
