If u do what astute said then look in the lua i remember reading something about max fly height. You might be able to raise the max fly height to like 99999 then lower the terrrain like astute said and u could have half ground and half space.

its a good idea but it would be hard to make and u might not get the full benefits of both map styles. also a huge map like this might lag a lot for some people

I'm not sure about lag though, since everything is so spread out, most of my naboo map is just terrain.

Interesting concept. If you put one side in space, and another on the ground u could do a planetary invasion :twisted:

It would be an AI nightmare. You would have AI jumping out without ever hearing of a parachute :).

Do they jump out now? It would really be just a space battle but half the level is disguised to look like a ground battle.

Parachute = unlimited Jetpack. i once had an idea to make an underwater invasion level using unlimited-fuel jetpacks as scuba gear. Maybe this could somehow work for a space-ground match. Have a Star destroyer floating on high elevation w/spawn points and gunships and troops with jetpacks. might work.
