Nice! Do the Wampas have modified melee combos or are they like the default Wampas?

Left 4 Wampas?
Pretty interesting idea, however, I share Broken_box' concern, are the wampas going to be brutal like they usually are or there is some kind of handicap for them? And what about the player Wampas? Are they going to be handicapped too?

No, silly. It's Left 4 Dead 3:** Wampa's Revenge
**I did not skip 2. Figure it out. *coughSWBFFilescough*

The wampas are just as strong as normal; you don't want to let them hit you. If they do, you have a low chance of surviving. You can survive several hits from a wampa, but the problem is if you get knocked down in a large crowd of them with no backup.
This is mitigated by their health being a lot lower than stock wampas, in singleplayer, they have 25% health (which means it's easy to take a single wampa out in just a few shots) and in multiplayer they have 50% health. Player wampas are just as strong/weak as the other wampas.
Your units are a lot stronger, though. In all the wave modes, the units available to the human(/s) have been given a lot more health, and in Hoth wave mode, they have better (and more) weapons than normal. Your AI partners in singleplayer are also "harder" (they have a higher AI difficulty setting) than the wampas, which means they're pretty accurate and quick-to-shoot.
I always do a lot of testing on my own material, and I'm satisfied with the difficulty on all the wave modes so far. If they need to be made more or less difficult, I will find that out from the beta test and implement that.

Hey, hey, take it easy. He's new here and probably hasn't spent enough time on here to realize that many people consider it rude.

Perhaps. Forgive my lack of manners. But he should be aware of how many people have asked that same question before and how it is utterly useless (and annoying) to ask again.

It is coming out when it is done (at least a beta version will be finished soon; as I said some pages ago, I planned on at least having a beta out before March was over). There will not be a grappling hook; I made that for "The Big 'L'" and adding it here would just be gratuitous (because it has no real place in this era; it never showed up as anything prominent) and would be lessening the impact of its use later on.

I am liking this mod more and more
When you said in your Wave Mode idea you can't be the bothan if you were previously if you die, does that mean that different classes of Wave Mode units are better or worse than the others? Basically do the classes have abilities that the others may not? Like how an engie in normal BF2 is a better CQB combatant than say a sniper.

For Hoth wave mode, yes, they fill different roles. There are four units to choose from: Kel-dor Commando, Mon Calamari Engineer, Duros Mercenary, and Bothan Spy. The commando fills the gunner role, the engineer fills a close-range role, the mercenary fills the support role, and the spy fills the defensive (distance) role.

As far as that's concerned, I would've sworn that I saw on GT that you can't do a grappler in BF2 anyway. Also, as far as the release date, Mav, take as much as you need, the more time you spend on this, the better it will get!
Wave mode looks pretty dang awesome too! Keep up the good work!

Correct me if Im wrong, but Mav didnt made a real grappling hook, but a weapon that teleports you to some targeted place. Therefore it could be understood as a grappling hook.
