Removing award weapons. *Solved!*

Okay, quite frankly, I hate award weapons, and I don't want them in my map. Unfortunately, if I remove them from the soldier's ODF file then when I switch to my secondary weapon in-game I can't switch back to the primary weapon. Does anyone know how to fix this? I've read the ODF documentary and also the Everything You Need~ thread. Can someone help me please?

why don't you create another profile? It will start with no medals...

Even with a brand new profile it isn't hard to get medals and bonuses. What I want in my map is a way to get rid of award weapons completely.

If you go into the 'Common' side folder, in the odfs, there are odf files for all the common weapons, eg com_weap_inf_rifle . At the top there are a couple of lines defining what award type they are. Try commenting out those lines and remunging common, see what happens :p

You can also change the stats of the award weapons to be the same as the normal weapons. Removing the awards in SP is one thing being looked into for the custom shell.
