I've got a simple VIP mode working but, not being a programmer, it took a lot of trial and error and is most likely an inefficient way of doing it.
I use GetCharacterClass to trigger MissionVictory if a unit of a particular class is killed.
ie. Princess Leia (max units 1) and her team of bodyguards must reach the evacuation region without Leia being killed by a team of bounty hunters.

that would be awesome, reminds me on cs vip maps which were not so favorite by players, but very interesting

Freeze tag? Dodge ball? A new space mode where the goal is shooting asteroids?
I think an escort space mode would be cool.
Goal for Defenders: Defend the target ship while it moves from point A to point B.
Goal for Attackers: Destroy the target ship before it moves from point A to point B.
You could also make a convoy mode for ground maps with the same rules.

A Counter-Strike bomb mode would also be cool

like escape from hoth space map in first strike, that would be awesome

I don't think +123 would be possible. It adds so much to so many maps, it would just take up too much space.
I have a mod idea:
HERO CONQUEST
Like normal Conquest, but with heroes.

+123 would be really easy actually. Most of the map modes he has I have in another form. +123 mode would be for the off-the-wall modes he did that don't match the Convo Pack, like the one with the giant ewok.

That Ewok was so frekin awesome
How about a mode where everything is destructible and both teams are in a space station together and you start at opposite ends and when the enemys reinforcements (destructible objects on there side) reaches zero, other team wins.

LOL guess you're right.
Realistic Destruction.\
2 uncaptureable bases for each team. The field is split in two, and you can't go onto the enemy side. One side has a reddish tinge and the other a blueish tinge. All objects are destructible (add more objects if needed) and you must get points by destroying objects (objects have different point values depending on health, range from opponents side [object is a small box far away from the Middle line and has a LOT of health. destroying it gives your team a LOt of points], size, etc.) and reinforcements are unlimited. Kind of like target practice...

"Devastation" Game Mode:
-Mix between 1-Flag CTF, COD4 Bomb, and Astute's new game mode in his Yavin map.
-3-4 permanent cps per team, spreaded evenly on map. There will be only one flag (Which will act as the "Bomb"), you'll have to it take to any of the opponent's cps in order to destroy eliminate that specific cp. Once all of the opponent's cps are destroyed, you win.

"Zombies" Game Type
2 cps per team, preferably far apart.
"Zombie" Team starts out with one member, a powerful AI
As players die to this AI, they are moved to the Zombie team (I know it's possible, I've been moved to another team due to a glitch before)
When the last man standing is killed, the game ends, however, if he/they can last *insert minutes here* the human team wins.
Don't know if it could work, but it would be awesome

Easter Mode:
A bot runs around dropping detpacks/eggs. You find them you get points. First team with 180 points wins. Sounded good to me

that would be neat.
As the Zombie side makes more points, it gains more unit's in it's count.

How about changing sides on the other maps for the SWBF1 Conversion Pack 2.0? Like change the felucia sides to the 327th, the Kashyyyk to the 41st, and Utapau to the...I don't know the legion. That'd be awesome.

if bfx mode will be included in the next release, i guess it is unnecessary to change sides in default assault then
oh and can you make the orbital strike like in bfx mod (i mean with binoculars), because the AI is always shooting down the recon droid what makes the whole thing pretty useless (and even if you manage to activate the beacon you cant kill many enemies)
