A 'lil help with the Map Packs.

I have recently downloaded "Map Pack 3" but I'm having trouble on making the maps appear in game. The directions were somewhat unclear on where to place the file.
I was also wondering about some help for BFbuilder. I am a new modder, and a guide on the basics of BFbuilder could be of some use.
Could someone help a new modder?

Alright, The_Mace_Of_Aces, since you have apparently registered on GameToast Message-Board for a short time, I assume that I do not need to severely warn you about the fact you should exploit the local "Search" feature much more often, additionally to a consulting of Stickies contained inside the "SWBF1 Modding" sub-forum. Moreover, regarding the GameToast "Map Pack" you have obtained and attempted to aggregate to Star Wars Battlefront, I guess that the entire content of the Archive you must have downloaded should have been extracted towards the "[Hard-Drive's letter]\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Battlefront\GameData\AddOn" Directory...

Thanks, I found out the problem on my own though. =P It turns out I didn't have the latest SWBF update. I do now though and it works fine. =)

Off-topic : I am rather glad to hear such a News coming from your Mouth, but I would almost be ready to bet that such problems must have already been experienced by a few
GameToast members having installed both
Star Wars Battlefront and
GameToast's "
Map Packs", and that's why I would
highly advise you to exploit the
local "
Search" feature before creating a thread similar to the current one in the times to come...

=P Thanks.
But I have one more query, that I cant seem to solve...X(
I have used the search feature, and havent found anything that helps me.
I have finished my first map which was made using Saturn Lab's toturial. I start up battlefront, go to instant action, select my newly created level and play, but the problem is, halfway through loading the level, it closes Star Wars Battlefront... It dosent do this to the mod maps I have downloaded... How can I fix this?

Try a clean and remunge.
Also, delete the old folder from your addon directory before remunging.

Off-topic : Well, in case
Epena's above Suggestion would not eventually help you to work out the Issues you have experienced with the
Star Wars Battlefront level dealt with this thread, maybe you should consider uploading the concerned "
Data[Mod_ID]" Folder on a Specialized Location, such as
Savefile©,
BaDonGo or
FilesPoint, as I do not many other ways intended to work out
all your problems more efficiently ?

You mean upload them on one of those sites, so someone of higher authority could view them and identify the problem?
That'd be great, because Epena's suggestion didn't quite work, thanks anyway Epena. =)
I have a Star Wars Battlefront 2 tournament to go to tomorrow, so i'll upload them whenever I can. Preferably monday.

Off-topic : That's indeed what I have proposed earlier, Mace', but in case you would decide to upload the concerned Star Wars Battlefront Project in order to make it available towards within days to come, then I have to warn that I might not return additional Informations and Details on the exact origins of your different problems before the end of the Week, which is partly related to the fact I will be held rather busy during this Time Period somewhere else...

Off-topic : I am rather glad to hear that you have finally guessed that providing me the Source Files associated to the Star Wars Battlefront Project you are having troubles with was probably the only valuable and efficient Way to obtain satisfying Outcomes, but in case I would not have warned you about this Possibility yet, then I have to say that a few chances of failing nevertheless remain significant, and that's why I cannot guarantee you the final Success of all these planned Maneuvers...

Off-topic : Alright, instead of seeking possible Solutions to the numerous problems inherent to your
Star Wars Battlefront Project, I have preferred generating a brand-new one which ships with the
same contents as yours, while having made sure that its creation
properly occured : Indeed, according to what I may have noticed so far when I was figuring out what may be the Origins of your different Issues, I have remarked that the Project you initiated thanks to
BFBuilder behaved as if its "
Integrity" had been altered during its conceiving, additionally to the fact some
major files were missing inside its multiple sub-folders. Eventually, I assume that you should get rid off your Troubles by getting your hands down on the "
DataURD1" Directory located on
this FilesPoint© web-page, while hoping you will endeavour in avoiding to remove
Critical Elements out of it...

Off-topic : You are welcome,
Mace', but as you seem to have begun developping Environments intended towards
Star Wars Battlefront, I would equally want to remind you not to hesitate having a look at the
whole Documentation shipping with the "
Modification Tools" built for this same video-game, additionally to the Stickies present at the top of the "
SWBF1 Modding" Section's Index and the numerous Informations and Resources located on the Message-Board administrated by
psych0fred, and rather easily consultable thanks to
this web-address...

Off-topic : Opening and reading the different Instructions and Advices provided through HTML Documents scattered into the "[Hard-Drive's letter]\BFBuilder\Documentation" Directory could indeed provide you both the Support and Resources you might need in order to work out the multiple Issues you are experiencing while launching the concerned level thanks to Star Wars Battlefront, and while you will be looking at this same Knowledge Base, I will surely be looking into the Project you submitted to me so as to determine whether I would have forgotten to get rid off a few Remaining Problems...
