Bespin: Platforms updates
1-Conquest mode is complete as far as CP's go. It's set up correctly, and plays just like BF1. All CP's are exaclty/pretty close (withing a few feet) to where they were.
2-Vehicle spawns need to be set up
3-1-Flag CTF is in, but not set up
5-2-Flag CTF is in, but not set up
6-Hero Assault is in, but not set up (a few heroes will change, I'm hoping for a new Bespin Luke skin) -- I think it should be really fun on this map
7-I need to change to the new BF2 fx -- things like steam look funny.
8-The HUD map is in (top down map) and working correctly
9-Gotta do the turrets
10-I need to decide what heros to have for Conquest and both CTF modes
When I have time I'll post some in-game screens, and once vehicle spawns are done, I'll also release a conquest-only alpha once I get the vehicles in.

That's the result that I got with Cloud City. I'm not sure if I want to get into Citadel further as I know that many will be working on it as well, but for the sake of bringing back the "old school" maps, I will probably work on it until I see an official release.
Okay - I haven't had a BOATLOAD of time to play, but can someone please post a QUICK way to get rid of those stupid 4 CP's? Annoying!!
BTW, to make this work, I selected Conquest ONLY. When using Bespin, I tried Conquest and Hero Assault (possibly this is what threw it off - unsure).

See Rends' 6 step procedure on the previous page, Ipod. This should be all you need to be successful (at least in preliminary stages).

just got my sides with dome models working:

I created also an empty conquest layer and this deleted the 4 default conquest CPs. Well i´m thinking of moving the base CPs over to the conquest layer. Well let´s see.

Great work at getting your old BF1 maps converted. I love playing your creations!
Question: is there a large difference in the appearance of the maps between BF1 and BF2? Or is the difference basically going to be in the gameplay modes?

uhhhh........Still not working, I keep getting a Zeroedit has to shut down, can I have some tips? I'm not exactly sure I'm using the right wld. files...
Also, why are some of the textures so hideous looking ( rhenvar citadel)

I don´t think so. I simple add a basic lighting only so i guess we only need to an extra light or light setting.

@ Rends -- It's really best to move your CP's to the conquest mode. Then it makes things really easy when you want to add new gamemodes.
