hi,

i installed the patch1.3 Installer version.
I wanted to remove the HUD because you cannot see something else if you playing on an 16:9 Display. but i cannot find the file to change anymore. can someone help me

you should really consider doing search or taking a look into the 1.3 patch documentation...

i had the same problem a while ago and someone told me to use the bat or something like this. it worked. and now someone changed it. can you please tell me how to do??

If you ran 1.3 with the r129 installer, you need to uninstall the 1.3 patch, then reinstall it. Make sure you uncheck the "Use custom HUD" option when the installer asks.

Although I'm playing on a 1600x900 monitor and I don't see anything wrong with it...

i haven't said there is something wrong with it. but the window is really smal because the HUD is much bigger than the one on 4:3.

i have to reinstall??

wasn't there a way only open a (i think bat) a console pops up and there i have to press 1-6 and press enter to make the changes??

i downloaded the 1.3patch from mediafire, installed, and haven't selected the HUD, and it isn't there. that's great but i have an other problem:
i bougth an new notebook.
installed BFII
installed my mods and maps, patch 1.3 with the DT installer.
kopied my old profile to savegames.
there was my profile ingame, but all my socores were resetet.
i installed 1.3patch from filefront, to remove the HUD, HUD still there, but my profile (i haven't changed somthing with it) was there with my old scores.
i installed the 1.3 from mediafire, and haven't select the HUD, my scores are resetet again.

Why and how can i get my old scores back??

There used to be that solution, yes, but it stopped working in Windows7

why did the Profil didn't work on win 7??

i mean when i installed the 1.3 patch from Filefront, the first Autostart startes and i couldn't play my mods, like the Readme said, but my profile were shown corectly and now everything is resetet

I'm not sure what you're downloading from mediafire (link please?), but if you're using this Setup Version from Filefront, I didn't make that. Someone else packaged it up in an attempt to help the community when I was too busy and I've never tested it.

My 'official' fix for the installation issues is to use the r129 exe found here (5.55MB). I haven't heard any problems with that installer yet. To change any of the options simply rerun the installer, no need to uninstall anything.

Since your scores are changing, I'd assume the Setup Version is replacing BattlefrontII.exe (but I'm only guessing). I'm also not sure what you mean by the v1.3 DT installer...

I'm not sure what state your game is in right now. Because of that, I say wipe it out and reinstall everything:
1) BFII
2) Restore profile and saved games
3) Check to see that your profile/scores works
4) Install v1.1 patch
5) Check to see that your profile works
6) Install your mods and maps
7) Optional - Install Unofficial v1.2 patch
Check to see that your profile works
9) Install - Install Unofficial v1.3 r129 from link above
10) Check to see that your profile works
11) Eat something
12) Rule a galaxy far, far away

Make sure to watch out for Window's hidden compatibility files when uninstalling things.

If you guys are having trouble with something related to v1.3, email me about it. I want to know.
