My problem is that I cant go further that the XSI Startup window. I got Vista Home Premium 64bit.

1. I start XSI, everything seems normal. 2. This happends. Up in the left corner it sais Svarer ikke, witch meens Not responding. 3. If i click this box of terror comes up. It sais
SOFTIMAGE|SICORE Engine is not responding
If you close the program, you might loose information.
-> Close program
-> Wait untill the program responds (or something like that)

sometimes i get the not responding message at startup, too. then i wait a sec and xsi opens.

What type of graphics card do you have?

Nvidia GForce 8600 GTS.

There is no problem, you just need to wait for it, it can take up to 10 mins to start on slow comps.

Ok, ill try. Its wierd, because I got XP on the same computer just on another drive, but then XSI runs perfect.
EDIT: Even if I wait in 15 minutes it wont start.

Find the XSI executable file (or the shortcut on the destop) and right click on it and under properties try setting the compatibitly settings to XP
