Can models be exported?

This is probably a very n00bish question, but the last time I asked, models couldn't be exported out of the mod editor. But can models be exported to programs like 3ds Max for editing yet? And if so, how would I do so?

Yep, they sure can.

In ZeroEditor, import a model. While sitll in object mode, click the multi-select button and choose the object you want to export. Then you'll see the 'save as obj' button on the bottom left. Click that and save to wherever. Then import into your fave 3D package. Textures won't be there, but the model's there.

Is there also a way to export the textures?

The textures are TGA files in the MSH folder of the world you're pulling the object from.

I think he means the UV (texture coordinates). But the answer is no. It's only the model. You have to manually remap the entire models textures, which to those who model, it's easy, but to a guy like me who can't wrap his mind around it, it's tough.

Well, at least I can get the TGA files. I didn't even think about the texture coordinates :( I should be able to fix that stuff though.

BTW, where can I find this ZeroEditor?
